I read Roma won't take up their chance to buy Astori, do you guys think he's good enough to lead our defence?

RE: Summer mercato 2015 - nefremo - 06-23-2015

Hell no! The guy is terrible. A walking mistake waiting to happen. I honestly think he's made at least one error per game every time I've watched him play. It was no different the other day against Croatia either.

No. He will be just another mediocre defender that we will regret having.

Jackson Martinez “thanks Milan, but he preferred the Atletico Madrid project,” confirmed the Porto striker’s agent.

Earlier today the Colombia international had not made any decision on his future yet, but representative Luiz Henrique Pompeo assured the deal was done.

“We thank Milan and especially Adriano Galliani, who did everything possible to take him to the Rossoneri,” the agent told Calciomercato.com.

“The lad preferred to say yes to Atletico Madrid for the project they built around him.

“The deal is done because I say it is. He has already signed on for the next four years and the Spanish club paid the release clause in his contract.”

The clause was set at €35m, the same price Milan were willing to pay.

Komdogbia's agent said the same. But quite honestly, they sure as hell aren't gonna say, "my client is a money grabbing whore and we whored around for as long as possible...we need to choose because soon the offers are going to start disappearing!"

Its the way the market has gone , average players 10m decent 15/20m good players 30m young with potential 40m+ very good 50/60m consistently good 70/80m and the elite who bloody knows.
If Milan intend on signing good or very good players they will have to spend huge and overpay as the club is in the gutter.

€8.5 million for Genoa's half.

It is so annoying that other teams that already are packed with quality continue to add good players while we seem to go nowhere.

I don't believe that we offered more to Kondogbia, of course we may never know the truth. But does it matter though?
