RE: Summer mercato 2015 - slifersd - 03-16-2015

Extension last summer with a raise, and not even one season into it, we are looking to offload him. Galliani at his best.

What do you expect? Robinho was extended after the club failed to sell him. Big Grin

RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Jay Crisp - 03-17-2015

Back in summer 2013 Santos wanted to swap Felipe Anderson for Robinho.Milan/G said no.

Berlusconi wouldnt okay €6.8m for Naingollan Jan 2014.
Milan wouldnt pay €10m for Benatia.

Bought Matri for €12m instead of Tevez for €9.5m and actually funded Juves Tevez purchase.

While Lopez is good could of got Pwrin in 2012 IIRC for €7m.

Now you ad Perin Benatia Naingollan Felipe Anderson Tevez into our squad instead of Lopez Alex/Paletta Essien & Muntari Pazzo Torres VanGinkel Armero. And at most it would of cost €35-€40m...Now the players I mentioned leaving well they cost more in wages alone.

Good post Jay.. Outlines how a costly these mistakes can be.

Let's also recall the fact that we had the opportunity to sign Pogba for free, and also didn't want to pay 10m or w.e it was for Vidal, but he was also available to come to us, and I'm sure he would have given our club wasn't completely destroyed back then. Not to mention, we had Pirlo leave us for free. We technically could have had Juve's squad, maybe even better had our management been as smart as they were.

The current state of our club is not 100% due to lack of funds, because we've still spent the money but in a much much much stupider way.

It's awful how out of all this we couldn't even raise one star player, our team is virtually worthless. I can't think of one player that we could sell to raise money at the moment. None of them are worth more than 10mln euros, maybe ELS, but in his conditions who knows what he's worth now.

Niang's value is increasing, Mastour could be sold for more than 10. SES and DS are both worth more than 10m atm Wink But none of them are actually raised. They all still have a long way to go.

RE: Summer mercato 2015 - reza - 03-17-2015

I just don't want Galliani in charge in another window.

I looked again, for 1000th time, to the 31 players listed on the official site. Mexes, Armero, van Ginkel, Essien don't have contracts after the summer, no sane person would keep them even if they play for free.
I didn't count Bonera and Zaccardo because I don't know that even with Maldini in charge they will be gone. Bonera doesn't have a contract after the summer either but who knows what will happen
Muntari, hopefully decides to leave. Albertazzi is pointless to keep unless he is going to play more.

I hope all the above are cleared out. If any of the first 4 names I mentioned are here in September Galliani or the person in charge needs to get himself checked, sorry.

If de Jong leaves I hope Galliani or the next person don't have delusions of "replacing" him with Baselli or Bertolacci.

RE: Summer mercato 2015 - ACMILAN1983 - 03-17-2015

That's only half the picture Reza, don't forget that guys like Nocerino, Matri, Birsa and Robinho are due to return in the summer, so there's another element that needs addressing there.

Frankly, even in the best case scenario where Galliani is replaced with someone who excels in this field, next season looks very unlikely to see a sudden turn around. Either you have a situation where there's possibly the biggest fire sale in club football history and an insane turnaround, which will only likely destabilise the environment. The other option is to start making incremental changes, but this means enduring with a lot of the fodder that's been relied on until now. All this without considering other areas that are clearly in trouble, such as coaching staff and MilanLab.

Then there's the other possibility that Galliani remains. I shudder to think what the consequences of this might be.

RE: Summer mercato 2015 - reza - 03-17-2015

True Dev but one thing. I am probably the only one that is not too concerned about the loan returns becoming a problem. Based on feeling only, because obviously I have zero faith in Galliani.

RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Jay Crisp - 03-18-2015

If we can see all this why cant they.I mean we see the issues and are well aware it cant be fixed easily or quickly but they dont even see it , it seems.

Take this season we have no money so we're led to believe.YET!!! IN WAGES ALONE Agazzi Zaccardo Mexes Armero Essien Muntari Torres Pazzo Matri Noce Seedorf cost around €50m.We have Italys 2nd highest wage bill.
There is constant talk of a "stadium" that keeps getting pushed back. The area of land they want to buy ...well they havent submitted an offer according to the owners. Not a proper one.Im dubious about the stadium , it seems whenever there is a fan revoult this stadium comes up.

Then there is Galliani.I mean hes awful. We've slashed our wage bill (shows how bad it was beforevas its still Italys 2nd highest) sold all our stars got Kaka Robinho Balotellis wages off the bill , cut all salaries by 20% yet are still on course to abnounce a loss €70m this April.Just disgusting.

In the summer I expect VanGinkel Armero DeJong Pazzo Essien to be gone.Im thinking we'll get a €15m + offer for Menez and he will be sold.Matri Noce Robinho will be loaned out again.Antonelli Destro Cerci Bocchetti are on loan , I expect Antonelli to be bought for €4.5m and Cerci to stay ,maybe see DES sold for around €15m also.Destro will not be signed we'll low ball Roma offering half of what we agreed.

Baselli, maybe Valdifiori Munoz a couple of loans or free players will come in.
If Sarri is the new coach he'll press for Marco Rui & Valdifiori he also would bring Saponara back IMO.He'll organise better but we'll be in that 7th to 10th place still.

I think Bee actually will invest prob €250m for 25%.But all I see happening is €30m of that being used as the startup cost for the stadium.if theyre serious about one.I also see the €70m or so loss being covered out of that. Remember with 25% Bee and his people will not have final say Berlu will. That why he only wants to sell under 30% so he can get cash and still be top dog.
These are my prefictions on what the summer will bring.

I also agree with everything you guys said above.

It's just additional work really, something which makes an impossible task more difficult.
