RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Jay Crisp - 06-23-2015 (06-23-2015, 07:49 AM)slifersd Wrote:(06-22-2015, 08:24 PM)Jay Crisp Wrote: Why is he an asshole ? for telling the truth. His future clearly has not been decided , he hasn't signed for anyone. He's just being professional.Anything else would be a lie. He's doing absolutely wrong , I think some are just annoyed that its plain to see he isnt interested in Milan. From what Ive read and saw and interviews by JM and his agaent they never said yes to Milan they had no agreement , gave no nod to a future had Milan verbal or otherwise, Porto president said he thinks Jackson has chose Milan..why ? because he got his 35m fee and just wanted the 35m.JM has never said no or yes to Milan just that we're an option , he's saying the same for Atletico. He's at teh Copa and I have no doubt will choose after.Players dont move mid tournament having negotiations and medicals.I think he's done nothing but be a pro , not commiting or saying no.Thats how I see it. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - sylrus - 06-23-2015 i dont understand with your adulation over witsel jay, i think he is the same quality with mauri, good squad rotation. you say he is better, but i say our youngster if given the same chance like him, would be far more better than him, example is cristante. Its not that I think he's best mid to sign , but hes one of the best options we can sign.Hes strong good tackler moves the ball well has a good range of passing strong in the air , has great endurance. He would be our best m8d if he signed. At this Milan with DeJong Montolivo Muntari Poli Birsa Noce Jose Mauri (if he signs) he would not be a squad roration player hed be our best midfielder.Ofcourse along we need a creative mid. To me, all the activities surrounding this transaction proved that there were some kind of agreement in place. If we did not have an agreement with the player of some kind, why did we send our medical folks to the tournament for a physical? The teams can agree all they want, but a player wouldn't be subject to a physical unless he also was in agreement on the deal. Unless we sent over our doctors as a elaborate trick to play with the fans (possible, given Galliani is in charge), JM and his entourage must have been involved in this in some way, shape or form. And for him to blindly declare he was not involved just doesn't seem realistic to me. Certainly it is possible that Porto's owner was full of crap, but is it really that likely? As much as he likes 35M for his soon to be 29 year old striker, this is a guy who routinely sells players for huge money. Looking through their roster, he probably has another 10 players he can sell for over 10M right now. And, he was going to get a lot of money for JM regardless of who he ends up signing with. We were not his only outlet to get paid for JM. Would he really lie his teeth off just to push JM into a deal? I must say, 35M is probably not enough money for this guy to tarnish his own image in the soccer world. How sweet (and unlikely) it would be...
RE: Summer mercato 2015 - am I Milan enough? - 06-23-2015 We surely will get someone to piss them off just like when they got Canna while we eventually got Nesta.. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk RE: Summer mercato 2015 - ACMILAN1983 - 06-23-2015 Just out of interest, what is it about Witsel that people find so interesting? I don't really understand the hype around him, I struggle to see what makes him a great player. I know some here were saying they'd rather Witsel over Kondogbia, but I really don't see why. I haven't seen huge amounts of Witsel, but when I have I've never understood what was particularly great about him. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I think he's bad, he's a good player, I just don't see why he's valued as a top tier midfielder by people. Cavani looks less likely given the figures apparently involved in getting him, though Ibra might be more realistic. Meanwhile Rabiot of PSG might be attempted as he looks set to leave. Funny, I remember when Rabiot was linked a year ago I said I thought he looked a lot like Cristante, just that he'd been given more opportunities than Cristante. It's pretty much the same again now, but I wouldn't mind giving him an opportunity, but as an important player, not just a benchwarmer. An important player doesn't mean starting every game, but is a regular starter. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Jay Crisp - 06-23-2015 Witsel is clearly the worlds greatest midfielder JEEEEZ its that simple...ForzaWITSEL!!!
