on another note . aftter watching barca real game today i have to say pepe-silva would probably be the best partnership to ever exsist..

God please no Pepe. He's not a particularly good defender that relies on his physique and strength but is not smart with his positioning or reading of the game. He's also reckless and violent.

I am with you. Pepe should stay far away from Milan. The same goes to an even worse player with the same name who is now playing at Juventus. WinkConfusedDodgy

Still it's a stupid rule though. You just buy players within EU or with an EU passport. It doesn't force clubs to buy Italian players nor to develop them.

Exactly, on top of that, u can buy non EU players from other team in Serie A.

It is almost as stupid as the Winter transfer players rule where if Player A played for Team A in CL, then he can't play for Team B in CL. However, if Team A and B are in the same domestic league, he can play in the same league. That's a double standard.

There are so many rules that are too stupid. Shirtless celebration = yellow card, what next? sucking a thumb like Cassano yesterday will too be banned?

Right, both stupid rules. I think the 6+5 rule would have been better if UEFA or the Italian FA want more domestic players in the teams.

Shirtless celebration is pure stupid, as if that is a yellow card, how about players pulling down their shorts during a free kick.

Rumor has it that FIFA was forced by the sponsors to do that. A goal scored is the best thing in a football game and at such an ecstatic moment, they want their brands to be shown. I mean who wants to be literally thrown away during the celebration that follows a goal, especially after paying a lot for the tiny space on the shirt, right? Long story short, as stupid as it is, it's all about the money, mate.

that's a good one.Okmilan

I don't think anything happened. The referee probably didn't see the incident, and obviously showed any card. And I don't remember any sanction afterwards either - of course I could be wrong in that.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Ca Rossonero - 04-17-2011

Soooo....why did people want Cassano out? I am definitely bias, always loved Fantonio. But undoubtedly, he's one of best in world when he's fit.

Zlatan is undoubtedly world class, but I think it's proven we got world class strike core with out him. We're not Zlatan dependent as it seemed early. Increasingly, I think we should sell him, and use that money to fix rest of squad (would you rather buy/pay zlatan or have money to go for Ganso and Hernanes/Modric/Sahin etc.?)

If zlatan was to go, I'd be completely fine w/ Forlan replacing him on the cheap and putting money in midfield. Pato (22), Robinho (27), Cassano (29), Forlan (32). Pretty balanced strike crew w/ all the characteristics and right mix of experience/youth.

Ibra will stay and I don't Milan can make any money off him since he only coated 24mil. I dontthink any team is stupid enough to pay higher an that.

City, Chelsea, Madrid?

First one definitely. Second one wouldn't surprise me.
