This is why players have agents as intermediaries. Milan can't talk directly to Destro, but they can talk to his agent. One of those loopholes. Either way, at this point...I think Roma has probably given permission to Destro to look for a new club if in fact it is true that he told them he isn't happy with the situation there.

I thought talking to the agent is the same as talking to the player himself? Huh

Well who's to say that they talked about Destro! Big Grin Maybe they just talked about one of the other clients that agent has!

Milan saying we are only 5 points off third , this time last year we were 17 points off third...is thee most embarassing thing they may have done , so fans fellow Milanista go celebrate because AC Milan are 5 points off third place in 8th position.

I think Roma have allowed Milan to talk to Destro and his agent tbh, with the ongoing negotiations, they probably have little issue.

nefremo, on your question about Destro being an upgrade over Pazzini and Torres. Honestly, I think he does have more to offer right now. However, if you're asking whether he's the guy to change the fortunes of the club and help to significantly improve results this season, then no. However, I would like to believe that if he's signed, it's because it's a part of a bigger project looking towards the future.

RE: Winter mercato January 2015 - nefremo - 01-13-2015

I would like to believe that too! Hope you are right as that would be the best for the club....

Even though recent history about our "projects" says otherwise.

Honestly, I think Milan do need another striker at the moment and getting someone like Destro is an upgrade. Having said that, like what Dev said, I don't think Destro will solve all Milan problems. heck I don't even think Messi or Ronaldo can solve all Milan problems at this point. As the problems run deeper than the talents or lack of on the pitch. The culture aka management must first change before we can see results on the pitch.

Hi everyone. I have posted here quite a long time ago, but generally I like reading what everyone has to say.

Basically I saw this article and thought it might interest a few people on here. Don't know how legit it is though.

I have to question If Baselli Will improve our midfield. Anyone that has seen Atalanta that can tell Us?

RE: Winter mercato January 2015 - WCmilan - 01-14-2015

Who's Siquera (pretty sure I spelled that wrong), Brazilian fullback that plays for Atletico Madrid? We need a left back, any 20m euro offers from Madrid for De Sciglio are more than welcome now IMO. He's been doing bad for a while now, patience is running out on my part but it would suck if we lived to regret selling him given he's homegrown and Italian, but seriously.. I'm not sure what his problem is, it could have something to do with playing on the left side when he's supposed to be a RB, who knows.

Baselli is a good player but he's not going to do anything for this midfield. He's no more talented than Van Ginkel and I would even argue he still has a bit more to prove to even show he's on the same level in terms of potential, and that's not a good thing for me to be saying because Van Ginkel hasn't proven much other than being injury prone and being able to pull off clean passes. I don't mean to bash Baselli, but he won't be a savior for this Milan and he'll need quite a bit of time to grow.
