Kondogbia was pictured yesterday signing with Inter.He had no medical .Its medical pending I think.Jackson Just didnt want to join Milan

It's unheard of in Italy to sign a player without a medical, but in some other countries it's more common, from what I understand.

According to Pedulla we have made an offer of 15M + bonuses for Bertolacci. It seems like Rudi Garcia wants to keep the player though, so I doubt it'll happen.

There is still a lot of time until the end of August, but this should be the last chance for Galliani. If he fails to deliver AGAIN, he should be fired!

I see no reason to doubt Bee's money being real at this point. Bear in mind that money won't arrive until the deal is finalised and concluded, though I think the fact the club is prepared to spend 75m on two players is in anticipation of that money coming in. I would assume Finnivest have done their homework on Bee too, given how cautious they and Silvio are in selling.
On Bertolacci, I don't mind getting him, 15m is pretty high for what would mostly be a squad player imo, but somehow I don't anticipate any cheap buys this summer. Again though, I'm not sure how available he is. Roma just signed him back after a very good season and he's their youth player, I don't understand why they'd sell him immediately, especially for around 15m.

I got to say, I'd love Verratti, but I just don't see it happening. Even with the money that the club apparently have, we're not going to compete with PSG financially. Unless Verratti wants to try and force a move out of PSG, which I doubt he'd do to come to us, I simply just don't see how it's happening.
Anyway, as I said before, I think Xhaka should be targeted. The guy's been phenomenal at Gladbach and really is a quality player, highly technical and one who can dictate games. I also have confidence he's the real deal, as he's been playing at the top level for around 4-5 years now (playing in CL with Basel as a teen).

i havent followed football that closely this 2 year, but this martinez and kondogbia guy i dont think they have what it takes.

Before I start making my point, just want to say that we have some really quality posters here. The opinions between me and some of you guys are different, but I respect how well written all your posts are.
Now onto how I feel about this mercato. I don't blame Galliani 100% for what happened with the two deals, and if i was honest, I am not all that butt hurt about losing Martinez and Kondogbia either. Both guys are fantastic players to have, but far from irreplacable. What I am concerned about is our team's ability to plan correctly and execute on our strategies.
For any team or company in the world, the ability to figure out a strategy, i.e what the hell we want to do, is the first step toward any kind of success. A company that doesn't plan well will fail no matter how brilliant the people working there are.
Our summer started with the idea that we are going to buy our way into the CL. We targeted all established stars, no matter their age to ensure we have a supremely high quality team by August to compete. If the star happens to be pretty young, great! If not, so be it! Based on that strategy, we identified our primary targets to pursue. We can sit here all we want and argue who should be our primary target and who should not be, but for whatever reason the management identified the guys they did.
Once we identified the targets and made headways with our negotiations, it is imperative for us to follow through and close the deals. And that, to me, is where Galliani dropped the ball. In the case of Martinez, I don't think we should sign a guy without a medical, but there are certainly ways where we can have him sign a contract that is contingent on his medical results. Martinez is not the first nor will he be the last guy who had to complete a transfer while on international duty. Our lawyers write the contracts, so we can basically put anything in there that we want, so long as Martinez does not object. But we decided to sit on our hands and not push everything through. Hoping or guessing that everything was smooth sailing from that point on, and we need not worry about anything despite the fact that Martinez repeatedly said the deal is not done and he was still considering options. Do I think we had an understanding with all parties? Absolutely. But even someone who has not been in the soccer business for 30 years knows that without a contract signed, an understanding is basically garbage. Galliani is not at fault for Martinez bailing on our agreement, but he did not do a good job covering all his bases to make sure Martinez had nowhere to go but here either.
The Kondogbia case is an even better example of a failure to execute for us. Again, we had all the agreements done with the parties, but nothing was signed. Even with our direct competitor sitting next room, Galliani decided to fly back to Milan and wait for Kondogbia's Monday arrival. If we had brought with us all the paperwork that everyone needed to sign, we could have closed the deal as soon as everyone nodded their heads. If Galliani had stayed in Monaca to fly back with Kondogbia's entourage, Inter would not had the chance to make their last second offer. Why did we insist on waiting until Monday to get the signatures? That, to me, is the better question.
Kondogbia and Martinez might not be the Messi or CR7, but they were our primary targets. And anytime you miss out on your primary targets, it is going to hurt you. Any time you lose your primary targets to direct competitors is going to hurt you even more. Three weeks into the mercato, and we have already allowed the gap between us and our competitors to widen, and that is never a good thing to happen. Is there still time to recover for us? Certainly. But with our inability to properly execute and close deals, can anyone realistically be 100% confident that we will recover from all of this? When was the last time a team with this much cash had trouble spending it? Good teams have their list of targets and do their absolute best to get those targets. We seem to employ a "shit against the wall" strategy where we get a crap load of names and hope one of them gets here. That is not the way a winning team plans its strategy.
We can always blame Kondogbia and Martinez for the horrible business practitioners they are, but the reality is that we are far from perfect ourselves. Until we start taking our own business seriously, these kinds of things will happen again and again. There are better players out there than Kondo and JM, but the likelihood of them choosing us isn't necessarily great. All players want to make a lot of money, play in a winning team and live in a nice city. At this point, we cannot offer any of those things to any player. That is why it was so critical for us to close the deals that we had a shot in hell on.
