Thank you Brasileiro. Where have you been?

Well, I have another questions. Sagrin
1. How about CB? Any strong CB in the making right now in Brasil?
2. How about Danilo (or something like that, player Galliani mentioned when he talked about Ganso) who plays in Santos (well, he is not a CB but fullback). Is he very talented fullback?

They said new Maicon?? LOL!!

Nahh... Danilo is more of a new Wesley, ex- Santos now in Werder Bremen. At Brazil under-20 NT he played as RB, but in Santos play as a second-volante LMD or RMD. Really good and versatile player, but not better than Wesley now in Germany. At least until now, I don´t think Danilo is worth a non-Eu spot.

And one more time, don´t believe at this "new Maicon" crap...

Marcelinho is the real deal!!! Like I said some pages ago, can´t compare both. Two different styles of to play as #10. One is vertical and the other more cerebral. Plus, both make their teams better and also didn´t feel Brazil NT shirt pressure. Great signal for a Big european team wanting them and afraid of the price...

Wallyson is more a second stiker...

Can t deny he´s tearing up for Cruzeiro... plus at Libertadores where several players fail. But it´s too early to give a opinion. Let´ s wait for his display at Brasileirao...

RE: Brasileiro: our Brazilian scout - Ca Rossonero - 05-04-2011

Brasiliero,

Curious if you agree with my assessment. Ganso's future in europe is more likely in deeper midfield role (perhaps a 4-2-3-1 where he is CAM or just in a 3 man behind forward line).

I think he'd struggle to find space with european DMs in a classic 4-3-1-2 like riquelme, diego etc.

Like you said he's very cerebral and has excellent vision, but the 4-3-1-2 works better with players like kaka, pastore or Lucas in the hole. The days of a player like Rui Costa or Zidane playing that are gone

What do you think about Casemiro? Whos regarded as next Felipe Melo...Everyone speaks high of him...And Danilo? Right Full back of Santos? New Maicon?
Lulinha is one of the several young talented players that didn´t develope at the Pro level. The funny thing he´s now at my team(Bahia) and will play Brasileirão for us.

New Melo?!? Man, these journalists makes me laugh...

Casemiro is a good prospect but a little overrated at the moment. He was great at the under-20 S. America Championship, but at the pro level still didn´t reach the same level. Is a player to keep an eye, but far from ready for Milan.

I´m doing great, my friend... but with little time to post. I´m partner in two companies and traveling a lot. I was in Porto Alegre, after in Rio and only now back to my town. Even to read MM is hard now...

Regardin your questions:
1- Besides the well know names(Mario fernandes and Rafael Toloi), there´s a player with HUGE potential... Dede from Vasco da Gama. A big CB , very skilled and with good speed for his size. Imo already deserve a chance at Brazil NT. Only thing holding my "approval" is the fact besides a game against Santos last season, I still want to see Dede more against better strikers.

But if I had money now, I would buy him asap and at least send to a middle team in Italy. Amazing potential(and production on the field) in a Club that need money and sell more easily than Santos, São Paulo or Internacional...

2- Talked a little about Danilo at the previous page. Btw, he´s playing at the mid in Santos.

Thanks for opinions...

i also rate Toloi high...we linked with Dede in the past...

Ca, the bold part is how Ganso is and will be used at Brazil NT by Mano Menezes. I think he fits great there but imo he can do more...

Here I disagree...

I don´t know if you read some discussions I had with Milano at my thread in the old forum(still don´t recognize all the new nicks here), but at that time when everyone was high on Ganso, I was the one saing he would struggle in Europe... Even comparing him to Alex(fenerbach and some Riquelme).

At that time he hold on the ball too much and had no answer to tight marking. But after some months, Ganso improvement was amazing! Not only he wasn´t holding onto the ball too much, but was also more savy to face tight marking... Plus he developed a work rate he didn´t had previously.

Do not underestimate the DM´s he face here in South America. Most in little time will be the ones he face in Europe. What was holding him in the past imo was his style(hold the ball too long) of play not the competition he faced. But this is now in the past...

Disagree part 2Okmilan

Theres a BIG difference in Zidane/Ganso to Riquelme style imo... Both, unlike kaka, Lucas or Pastore make the ball run, a thing Riquleme could not do. Ganso would fit great as the 1 in the 4-3-1-2, but with another style. He will not be the one running with the ball to setup the striker, he would make the ball run to find the strikers.

RE: Brasileiro: our Brazilian scout - Ca Rossonero - 05-04-2011

I'm away he plays in 4-2-3-1 under Mano.

Well I should clarify, I'm talking older Zidane/Rui Costa style. Both moves to deeper roles because of declining athleticism. Zidane at jube had a burst. It terrorized me everytime milan played them.

I guess if you're right he has improved his touch and decision making, i still don't like it. Fabregas is example of a player like that, i doubt he could play in hole in 4-3-1-2. Though I suppose Sneijder is another example of a player who isn't super fast but does it well

I think in the 4-3-1-2 for a player of ganso's skill set to suceed though, he does need forwards dropping and constantly moving and CM's who push up. In our case it could work cause you got Robinho (who always drops to left side) and Boateng (who bursts up right)

edit: I realize you're bias towards brazilian players but it's not true Riquelme didn't run with ball. Riquelme suffered from similar thing to ronaldinho later years. He dwelled too much on ball, but he moved. He always tried to dribble too much when he got it, so that's a problem if you don't have exception dribbling or explosive moves.

Anyway, I like Ganso. I have no doubt he'll be a star where ever he goes. I'm just not sold on what his position will be,.

Not it againWallbang

Before calling me biased, do your research.

Whats your nick at the old forum? Go back there and see the amount of Brazilians next "big things" or "new this or that" that people here in MM(and around the web) were high and I called overrated or was against the purchase...

I´m very objective in my thread, period. Jo, Keirrison, Thiago Neves, Rafael Sobis, Bruno Cesar, Henrique, Leandro Lima, Dentinho, Cicinho, Marquinhos, Carlinhos are among SEVERAL others "next big things" that I called overrated at the thread. The list is BIG and really prove my "bias" toward Brazilian players...

The fact we have different opinions about some players does not make me biased. I tottaly disagree with your Lamela hype at the trasfer thread, but didn´t called you nothing. The simple fact you put Lamela at the same level of Ganso shows were is the bias... But I never called you.

Glad to see you here in my biased thread again, my friend! LOL

How are you doing?
