Quote:La Liga dominates as Messi & Ronaldo make 2012 FIFPro World XI

The Barcelona and Real Madrid stars have both made the cut for last year's world XI, alongside a host of team-mates and Atletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao

The 2012 FIFPro World XI has been announced during Monday's Fifa Ballon d'Or gala in Zurich, with Barcelona and Real Madrid stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo among the standout names.

The FIFPro World XI is a prize from the players for the players, with FIFPro inviting all professional footballers in the world to compose their best team of the year.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas gets the nod between the sticks, while his club team-mates Sergio Ramos and Marcelo have made it into the defence alongside Barca duo Dani Alves and Gerard Pique.

The three-man midfield consists of Madrid star Xabi Alonso, as well as Spain team-mates Xavi and Andres Iniesta.

Unsurprisingly, both los Blancos forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Blaugrana ace Lionel Messi have made the cut up front, with Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao completing the side.

At least he was there; I believe that Mourinho did not even go.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the only goal for Granada who defeated Real Madrid 1-0.

For Messi fans out there: not to worry, the little one will score two own goals tomorrow. Icon_lol2

He scored a penalty, just to prevent from losing to Valencia.

Xavi is injured after this match, and his form is decreasing.

Vilanova won't present in both match against us.

The change for us is getting a little better.

Are you saying that instead of 5%, we now have 7.8% chance winning over two legs?

So glad to see Barca lost.

RE: La Liga - Kastriot - 02-27-2013

It will be tough for barca to recurate from this. They have lost other times but they have never been outplayed in this fashion and twice inside a week. But I am glad cuz barcas players cab be such pussies.

RE: La Liga - xudong - 02-27-2013

The biggest problem is perhaps their coach, who I heard is not even a real coach - more like a scout.

I hope that Real Madrid (again) and La Coruna will keep them exhausted for us. Smile We might then still have a chance.

Seville troubled them then Madrid defeated them...

We surely brought confidence to La Liga teams Sagrin
