I started reading from Page 5.. when these interistas were first talking about Hakan.. it got to a full discussion on page 6.. these guys are fricking hilarious.. even they feel like they got f*cked by their club signing Hakan..

One user called YoramG (page 5 of thread) said something that made me laugh for a good 15mins..

"Calhanoglu is so frustrating he makes me rip my hair out in when he plays against us, never fucking mind if I had to actually cheer him on."

Hakan has great skills and decent finishing (compared to Bennacer, for example), and when he plays well, he can create good amount of chances and be very useful to the teams. That's probably why Inter pursued him and why I wouldn't mind keeping him in the squad despite that I never liked him that much (he got my support only because he played for us, that's all).

His weaknesses however were glaring, definitely overshadowing his "strength". He is inconsistent as hell, more bad than good. He relies on having good players around him, instead of having the ability to lift the team and carry the team. The worst part is that he is mentally weak, I mean, very weak. This may explain why he could almost never perform when the rest of team isn't performing either. He is sulky and just plain gives up at the face of adversity.

I hoped to see him stay as a solid backup (and get paid at the backup price, probably not as low as 300K, what our legendary Marco Simone suggested Big Grin, but certainly no more than 2 or 3M. 4M was very generous IMO). Now that he is gone, I don't regret a bit. He was never my personal favorite so I feel rather indifferent to be honest. Even Donnarumma, I liked him a lot. Hakan? just meh.
