Conventional strategy won't make us top Bacelona,Unless your prayer will be heard by the Almighty that barca suffer a sudden plunge themselvies or something.It's time we can use some madness.
Neither do Ayew and your great Bale. Even CR7 and Angel Di Maria (maybe best winger pair in the world, besides Robben-Ribery) can't stop Barca.

I would stick to our "cheap signings" policy until we see if FFP changes things or not.

Thirdly... I just watched the Juve game and they look extremely threatening and promising. Pirlo played like a player back from the Germany WC. The whole team was very fluid and sharp.
If they keep improving from now on, they might be a much stronger competitor to us than Inter.

Well I've actually seen him quite a handful of times with Leverkusen, and got really excited when rumors linking us with him started. He would have been a great alternative to both Van Bommel and Gattuso, great solid all round midfielder. Cheap also.
