He has said that he talks with PSG but they don't need him now. He is practically begging to be part of Milan and the chance is being blown.
I am more certain than before that this summer is a point of no return for our team.

I agree, Maldini seems desperate to contribute to the club, but it looks like it's falling on deaf ears or he gets seemingly nothing statements like the one Barbara said at the Casa Milan thing.
I also remember Maldini saying in the Gazzeta interview that Seedorf risks getting burned coming in so early. Looks like he was probably right.
I agree reza about this summer being the point of no return, if we're not already past that point.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, although if we keep falling as fast as we are, by the time the stadium's ready we'll have fallen too far. Under Berlu, I think we're at the very limit of the point of no return. Obviously, who knows what'll happen in the future, a new owner can turn things around just as Berlu himself did in the 80s.

I was particularly pleased to see him saying that Italy defending isn't bad. Those who saw my post during and after the England match know I wasn't impressed with the defending and imo it's something Italy's strayed from too far in their search for a modern way of playing. I'm not a person who prefers defensive football, but these days Italy doesn't create defenders and the advantage they previously had from this over opponents is completely gone.

Simply put, in his view De Sciglio is a guarantee. On Darmian he says that while he was at Milan, it was difficult for young people to get chances, needed to develop physically (a few people from Milan have said this as well) and needed to go out for experience. Finally, on Balotelli he says it's time for him to mature and hopes he'll find find a bit of peace and show himself on the world stage.

Basically he says he's always only worked for Milan or Italy, so doesn't see himself working outside of the country.
He also praises the Italy side, but says they need to stay focused as things can always change. He cites 1994 as an example, where that side lost their first game but went on to reach the final.

Has Darmian ever played as CB? IIRC that's where he played one or two times I saw him in Milan shirt and I remember thinking he was too short. Speaking of developing physically, I think it's been suggested numerous times that De Sciglio needs one too.

I am fairly certain that he played CB as a youth player and was touted to be our new great CB. I guess he was versatile enough to switch over to the wing as his career developed.
