We just don't have the $$$...Some are worth that much some not.If City Chelsea Arsenal Barca Real Munich stay away Juve could get him.But I see Goetze at Munich or the EPL or Barca Real.

RE: Winter Mercato 11'/12' - brasileiro - 11-14-2011

Sorry if it was already posted here...

Just saw on TV from a journalist with great connections in Italy, that two Italian Clubs(Inter and Juve) directors were at Rio Sunday, to watch Dede in the derby against Botafogo. For the ones that dind´t watched the game(everyone but me LOL), Dede was one more time the player of the game. A monster as always...

But what Milan have to do with it, you may ask... Well, the journalist said Braida will join both at the next Vasco game against Palmeiras this week, to watch Dede playing live..

Now, that´s a player worth the non-EU spot!!! I know people may say we have enough CB´s at Milan, but they are not even close in the talent subject(T. Silva aside). With a guy like him, we have our interior defense set for a long time. Plus, as a big guy(1.93), Dede would be a great partner for T. Silva.

I will try to keep you guys updated about Braida adventures in Brazil

Casemiro: Similar to Felipe Melo...? If that's so I'm not sure I would want him at Milan. Hopefully he's a lot better.
Terrible comparisons by this Goal.com guy, Arildonardo. Lol!!!

Casemiro with Melo? Dede with Juan? Lucas with Robinho?!?! Terrible...

Brasileiro, thanks for posting. Is it true that Dede's contract buyout is only 4 million?

I can´t guarantee it, but I believe it´s false.

If I´m not wrong, this year Vasco bought 90% of the rights of Dede. So, it´s hard to believe they did not raised Dede´s wage and buyout.

A good thing is that at least for the near past, Vasco da Gama is more "friendly" to reach an agreement than a Club like São Paulo (for example) so, if Braida is really interested, we can really make a push for the player.

Thinking about it now, come to my mind that some years ago Braida was also in Brazil to watch another big young Brazilian CB live and to give(or not) the green light for the purchase(he did). In that game too, the young CB was amazing and scored a goal. For reasons well known, we left the competition and Chelsea bought him. This time, it´s Juve and Inter, and I really do not want to see him and Chiellini(sp?) paired against us.

I hope we are really after Dede, because he remind me a lot of the young Alex. Both have great straight line speed, are strong, do not foul a lot(play clean) and can clearly give a forward hell, being it big or fast. Dede is much more skilled than Alex(maybe that´s the reason for Goal.com writer compare him to Juan), better at the aerial game in the offense(Alex is better at the defense) and as big guys, lack a little of quickness or the lateral movement speed of a small defender like Silva. But they compensate it with amazing defensive awareness and instinct.

Finally some good news out of Brazil, because the last names we were linked here, really let me concerned.

Btw, why we always came late(after the hype start) for a player in Brazil?!? Angry

Just curious brasileiro, pardon me if the same question was ever asked and already answered, but what did you think about Thiago Silva when he was still playing in Brazil (5-6 years ago)?

No problem, ZB... I was asked about it at the old forum and answered there.

Look, basically I said that talent wise, the Thiago Silva purchase would be a huge hit because he was the best CB playing in Brazil and always delivering at big games. Plus, in Libertadores(our CL), too. But make it clear that T. Silva had failed in Europe two times before(one time he had a freak disease so, he get a pass). To be fair, like I said, he was very young and just a prospect when of his failure. But when we were linked to him, he could not be considered a prospect anymore. So, I said I was pro the purchase, even more with the time to adapt to the team and Serie A.

Hope to have helpedOkmilan

Btw, after your question, just for fun, I was thinking about the Brazilians CBs(4) that I hyped in my MilanMania long tenure. I started with Alex and pick up some fights because some guys at the time were pro-Senderos. Some years later, if I´m not wrong, it was a Brazilian under-20 CB known as David Luiz. After that was T. Silva and last season Dede and Mario Fernandes(now more a fullback).

Maybe I´m missing someone that become a failure Devilol and some old member can remind me, but these are the names that came to my mind at the moment.

Like I said, it worries me to see us heavily linked to guys like Casemiro and Fernando in Brazil and not Arouca(likely going to Fiorentina in January) or Dede. At least for now the link is with a player worth the foreigner spot.

I don't remember exactly, but could there be anyone that's pro Senderos? I thought nobody ever liked him. Devilol

Anyway, I hope that our administration can see your posts here and make the smart buy! OkmilanHeart But both Arouca and Dede are non-EU right?

The pro Senderos hype was HUGE, my friendDevilol

I could not watch Senderos playing, so I did not bash him at that time. Mexes I catch some games an despite not be a fan like many, respected the opinions because he was not bad. I´ missing someone here, a CB that was also a no miss prospect, but there were more funny hypes...

It was more like this in MM: I, pro Alex. 80% pro Senderos and 99% pro Mexes. There were a few didn´t rate Senderos, but Mexes was the most wanted... by far!!

Looking back now It´s all funny, and I would love to see the pro Senderos bandwagon delight when Galliani bought him to Milan... it was a dream for a lot of Milan MM fansIcon_lol2 But jokes aside, at that time I wasn´t used to internet boards, and people were traumatized by Roque Junior fiasco. So, needless to say I pick up some heat discussions about "Brazilian defenders" here and received a few warnings by the moderatorsDevilol Crazy times...

Regarding administration, they just don´t trust me. I gave them some steals purchases back in the time here in Brazil, but they chose to ignore my advice.Sagrin
