RE: Summer mercato 2015 - devoted_dm - 06-20-2015 (06-20-2015, 04:53 PM)Acmir Wrote: Its interesting how every move this transfer marker was unsuccessful starting from Ancelloti, Ibra to Kondogbia. There aren't many quality and reasonably priced players on the market. I agree with Dev we should focus on Allan now, I can't understand why aren't we linked to him. Yeah it seems like it's hard to find good players at a reasonable price. Especially the level of players we're looking for, who are quality but not world class. They all seem to be priced as if they're in the latter category. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - xudong - 06-20-2015 If there is one thing I really appreciate about Galliani, it is his ability to pull off some surprise (and quality) signings. Deals that drag on and on forever may not end well, but often we would have some absolutely unexpected deals that come out of nowhere and get wrapped up in a lightning speed. Nesta, Ibrahimovic, Diego Lopez, Bonaventura all can go under that category, I suppose. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Jay Crisp - 06-20-2015 The doubts are creeping in.Is there actually money ? Bee still hasnt officialy finished the deal. The failure to lure Carlo and the fails for Kondogbia Ibra Martinez Imbula are not good signs.Theres talk but nothing has been done beyond that.Is this classic Milan. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - xudong - 06-20-2015 Jay, I share your sentiments, which is why I said earlier that I am cautiously optimistic, and would rejoice only when quality signings are confirmed. Carlo's refusal wasn't unexpected, Martinez and Kondogbia situations annoy me, Ibra may still come on August 31, has there been real interest in Imbula? But I am more concerned and curious with Jose Mauri. Didn't we already wrap it up? What about Baselli? Didn't we already sign him back in January? Calma calma RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Graeme_C - 06-20-2015 What worries me is that I dont think Galliani is capable to rebuild the squad anymore, he only knows how to deal with Raiola, Bronzetti or Preziosi. I agree Kondogbia was overpriced, and would prefer someone like Verratti who has proven more at club / international level. Its really embarrassing the Milan channel is announcing we have nearly signed all these players and each one falling through. I get the feeling there is no money, and its all a big PR campaign to trick fans into getting season tickets. Like last year we were promised Iturbe and got no one. I don't rate Milan Channel higher than any other tabloid in term of credibility. They have proven me right summer after summer. ![]() I think you are right. It is probably just their attempt to get more season tickets sold.
RE: Summer mercato 2015 - honsano - 06-20-2015 With the difficulty we are having in buying players who are not even stars yet, it makes me wonder if Galliani and crew take note so that we don't end up alienating our young talents (ELS, Niang and DCS) anymore by trying to squeeze them out of the squad. The last thing we want is a squad full of Poli's and Mexes's. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - slifersd - 06-20-2015 Losing Kondogbia really does hurt us, no matter how we slice it. We couldn't get our number one target and instead watches him join our rival in Italy. Qualifying for CL was difficult enough as it was, and with Inter now signing some quality players like Miranda, Kondogbia and Imbula (how many midfielders do they need?), their core is very strong now too. I mean, how many major signings do we need to match Handanovic-Ranocchia-Miranda-Kondogbia-Hernanes-Kovacic-Shqairi-Icardi? There isn't enough money in the world for us to do that. That being said, Inter, at this point, is probably getting close to tapping out financially. They are setting up all their deals as loans with obligation for redemption to avoid FFP problems. But you can only put so much debt on your credit card before running into issues in the near future. All we need to do right now is regroup and refocus on our other targets. Like some posters mentioned, Allan seems like a terrific signing and we need to get our act together quickly to get it done. For JM, I have to be honest, I don't see any way Atletico steals him from us. Not that they wouldn't want to, but Atletico is a very financially sound team who would never spend 35M on a 28 year old with no re-sale value. Even if JM wants to sign with them, they wouldn't be able to get the nod from Porto. It's a non-starter to me. And even if we lose him somehow, we can go and get Dzeko for like 10M less anyway. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - reza - 06-20-2015 Reports say €5m per season. Is this after taxes, so costing Inter around 9.5m? I sure hope not because if so, come on this is silly number. That would make him top 5 in Serie A. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - reza - 06-20-2015 Well according to a pic posted on football-italia and elsewhere ( http://football-italia.net/68048/report-kondogbia-signs-inter ) we can move on. Kondogbia to Inter. |
