RE: Winter mercato 2022 - Demonbanana - 12-11-2021 (12-11-2021, 02:37 AM)nefremo Wrote: Barak is not a bad player. But come on now. Either improve, or don't waste money. Barak is not an improvement over what we got. I bet the "several EPL clubs" are the likes of Norwich, Burnley, Watford, Palace. And that's ok, because that's his level. We just got crapped on by a Liverpool makeshift side. We were talking about the gap to the elite. No way are we going to bridge that gap by signing players of Barak's quality The EPL club's are West Ham and Newcastle ![]() But I agree, I would rather skip over Barak. One battling for relegation and one a mid-table team (I know West Ham are in the top 4 now...but they'll 99% end the season outside the top 6 spots). RE: Winter mercato 2022 - ACMmike - 12-11-2021 If we sign Christensen then we have a permanent CB so why not do that instead of another donkey who we need to struggle to get rid of next transfer window. Despite Tomori's mistake he's easily our new Thiago Silva. He is almost a guarantee to be world class in the near future. What really sucks is that Romagnoli is pretty far from expectations.. He was on track, but has regressed recently. Either that or now that we have something going on in the squad he's falling out of place. RE: Winter mercato 2022 - Sleeping Giant - 12-11-2021 Is Ibra going to retire in next summer? Winter mercato 2022 - Inas - 12-11-2021 I hope so. Some report's say that Ibra will extend until 2023. Time will tell if true or not. RE: Winter mercato 2022 - nefremo - 12-11-2021 He's not the problem. But can't be the main guy. As a matter of fact, I don't mind how we've been using him this year. If he starts, he's out by the 60th minute, and if he plays 60, he doesn't play the following game. He still scored 6 goals in 9 games in Italy. Of course, his contract should be adjusted to something lower. I wonder if the rumors of his contract being based on the number of appearances is correct... Anyway, just saw that Arthur may leave Juventus in January. Would anyone be interested? Kessie is obviously not renewing. And we're out of the CL. So I'd definitely sell him in January if possible. A loan + some option/swap for Arthur would be welcomed by me. The guy is quality on the ball. Although seems to maybe have some attitude/discipline problems. We don't have a player we could swap with Juventus because that would have been nice. Unless they want Conti and Samu. Funny, never thought about that until now though, and it's a good feeling. To have a squad made up of players I don't wanna just give away. It's been a while since that's been the case. The last 8 years, I's have swapped every single one.

I wonder if the rumors of his contract being based on the number of appearances is correct... no dont want arthur at all, even pirlo when asked about arthur vision said that he doesnt have the vision. we need creativity and vision for midfield, if we want another kesie better get pobega, btw, why thinking about the midfield? we already have adli and pobega for that, i think they will do wonder for us next season. we need amc, st and cd RE: Winter mercato 2022 - nefremo - 12-11-2021 Adli is more of a Diaz replacement/rotation by the looks of it. Pobega is doing well, but he can't replace Kessie currently. Btw, not saying Arthur is the answer or even a great choice. Just an opportunity worth exploring imo. I saw the news this morning and just thought "why not". Also, i agree he's not creative in the opponent's half. But he's highly press-resistant and great in possession. We can leave the creativity in the final 3rd to the ACM, the wingers, CF and even full backs. Anyway, Ladri will ask for a fortune and he's not worth that. And if we have any cash in January it should go to a CB RE: Winter mercato 2022 - Sleeping Giant - 12-11-2021 (12-11-2021, 12:44 PM)Demonbanana Wrote: Some report's say that Ibra will extend until 2023. I won't mind if he lowers his salary, he is old and has limitations tbh, still is good enough against most of Italian clubs (12-11-2021, 12:48 PM)nefremo Wrote: He's not the problem. I donno know what really happened to Arthur Melo since joining Rube, I remember were Barca were heavily critised by media and their fans over Arther-Pjanic swap deal, that meant to be really a stupid deal by any sense but still he is crap and comes with high wages. |
