Just saying, for what this project was meant to be, the budget (or invenstment amt) isn't the problem. I dont think Juventus did more. But they did it right and have reaped real benefits from it.

Not going to compare what we are doing with Barca B. They are light years away.

My whole point here is that rather than the investment....the problem is the management. Every decision they made has been wrong. You could have invested 100m into Futuro. These imbeciles would have found a way to burn it all to the ground anyway. I mean...who the fuk hired an American dorector to manage an Italian youth project? And who btw, has zero experience with the country and its football. Of course it was going to fail.

If they manage to salvage it somehow and actually stay in Serie C, it'd be a miracle.
But then hear this...there are rumors that they want to give Kirovski even more power, to the point where he's also managing the youth sector. I swear man....you can't make this shit up. How crazy are some of these decisions!?!?! It's so crazy that even we can tell they are bad decisions. Its obvious. Yet they go through with them anyway. It's unreal!

Is that Kirovski guy a nepotism hire? I read that he is Zlatan's buddy. Ibrahimovic should f*ck off before he turns into a complete villian.

RE: Milan Futuro - nefremo - 03-11-2025

It for sure is nepotism. He was apparently instrumental in bringing Ibra to LA. I'm not going to say Kirovski is clueless about doing this job. But, he is definitely clueless about doing it in Italy. This was a project begging to be given to someone that worked in Italy their whole life. It's all about player development in Italy. Knowing academies, having contacts, understanding the level of play, agents, etc. You bring a guy in from America, no matter whether he knows how to do this or not, you gotta be ready for him to learn the environment which could take several years. And this project, didn't have several years. The bare minimum was to survive in Serie C, and they are about to mess that up too.
