RE: Winter Mercato - 2025 - Sampinjon - 02-20-2025 He's one of those guys I'd like to see scout reports about. What exactly recommended player who wasn't able to get senior games in Serbian league. I mean, at age of 18 you have to be at least regular decent player, if not better, in weaker league to be "recommended" to top club. Like this Maksimovic kid, 17 years, amongst better players in Serbian league, played CL, made monkey out of Bastoni with dribblings few times on CL debut, so not afraid have some balls and audacity... I would understand if we would go for someone like him... But guy who didn't played at all? And we are speaking about "2 youngsters per game must start" league... What we thought will became out of him is still beyond me... According to reports out of Italy, tension in the Milan locker room has been very high after their Champions League exit - prompting Pulisic to ask for a transfer. However, he said: "I have never argued with the coach and I have never asked to leave." RE: Winter Mercato - 2025 - Sleeping Giant - 02-21-2025 Milan interested in Nuno Tavares to replace Theo RE: Winter Mercato - 2025 - Leoni9900 - 02-21-2025 This may be an unpopular opinion but maybe we resign Theo for 2 years. I was reading Carlo or Pirlo’s book, can’t remember which, and in the book they talked about how a player was out with a long term injury and during that time his contract was set to be due up. Berlusconi and Galliani resigned him anyways to show their support and belief in him. I thinks that’s what Theo needs for him to get back to his scudetto season form. Maldini and Pioli made him feel important and wanted while this new regime probably makes the whole team walk on egg shells. Let’s take a lesson from the people who ran this team during our greatest period. Resign him and if he doesn’t improve after next season, sell him. He’d still have 2 years left too. The reward could be worth the risk RE: Winter Mercato - 2025 - xudong - 02-22-2025 (02-20-2025, 10:21 PM)Sampinjon Wrote: He's one of those guys I'd like to see scout reports about. That is, if Theo truly cares about this team like we do. He should show his sincerity in wanting to stay in Milan. Don't be too greedy asking for a big raise and stop fooling around. Fight for this jersey and he will have our support again. Then again, as you pointed out, the bigger issue may be the managment. Incompetent to say the best. RE: Winter Mercato - 2025 - Sampinjon - 02-22-2025 Exactly. Respect goes both ways. If you respect club, then club will respect you. That was the case in B&G era (except for dusk of it). Those "new age" mercenaries... I'm not sure if they deserve any kind of gratitude from clubs... RE: Winter Mercato - 2025 - Zio Fester - 02-23-2025 Antonio Cassano: Conceição ? "Luck made you win those 2-3 matches: Juventus in the Super Cup could have been 5-0 up at halftime. Then you start acting like a clown with the cigar, and you're not credible. And that's how it’s easy for people to tell you to get lost. We’ve had our disputes too, but this Milan needs to change. They need a coach who plays a certain type of football. This is not credible. With people like Capello or Conte, it’s completely different; this one acts like a clown, making a show of it. Guardiola could pull off the cigar thing, he's a credible coach, but not him. He’s set rules that no one listens to." RE: Winter Mercato - 2025 - xudong - 02-23-2025 Funny Cassano talks about credibility and clown. |
