RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Ca Rossonero - 04-08-2011 (04-08-2011, 08:59 PM)Siregar Wrote: I absolutely agree with you about Pirlo. Pirlo was great before his injury when he played left CM. In this side, Milan would a lesser risk compared when he played as last midfielder. The most important one, like has been said, he was free to move forward. Great performance from him in the position and also from Milan. I don't see a big problem renewing all 3 IF we sell Flamini, Seedorf and invest in 2 young CMs like boateng (not style wise, but age wise.... 22-27). We also got Strasser, Merkel so I don't see us being too old. Besides all 3 are legends and great servants of the club, I'd like to see them retire. Truthfully I'd like to see Seedorf retire here too... but he is 35 and on verge of it anyway, and he's always said he'd like to play in Brazil for his wife who's from there. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - abbeyleemania - 04-08-2011 Pirlo is earning more or around 5 m euros a year, he has been good at LCM but not great. Pirlo is slow... if we play with Gattuso, Van Bommel Pirlo midfied, we cant control the midfield even vs teams like Tottenham... Our midfield offensively cant do much and stopped offensively by other teams, especially in high tempo, we dont have much chance with this midfield. Pirlo worked there, because he had Boateng and Robinho, who helped him so much, and ibrahimovic. his long balls are more effective with him, Boateng is very strong and someone who can keep the ball in further area, Robinho, moves a lot on the flank. So we got best out of best from him. He did his job well even by walking. But yet honestly Milan need a Seedorf typee (2002-2007) there if we want CL+ someone like Hernanes... i want a midfield who can play at highest tempo, runs, creates, control the midfield, can win games...in the past, on CL glory times, one of our midfield trio was a match winner(Seedorf) One was regista and one was a fighter, ball winner. with this trio, we won CL 2times, played 4 semifinals, lost a final to Pool. Solid defence+ great midfield+ strong team defence+match winner players=CL. This is why i just want us to renew Pirlo at low cost and as not a first choice...But i can see juve will offer so much and long term contract... Pirlo, Bommel/Ambro, Gattuso as trio of midfielders are too old for highest competition. I think, Pirlo's plays when he played as left CM were good-great. He made the game lively. Of course he needs other quality players to take his passes like Xavi or other creative midfielder need other players since one CM cant do it all. We can't use only Pirlo with 2 DM and 1 striker plays as CAM to conquer the game with good-great play. The problem is not Pirlo but the players who accompany him. The game vs Roma (until he was taken out due to injury) was the last game I really enjoyed watching Milan (when he got injured in this game). RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - WCmilan - 04-09-2011 I dont wane it nagatomo at milan.. first off he played for the inter team that i hate, 4 years ago i wouldnt care, but the discusting actions of the fans and this air of confidence moratti has after there last 4 years of success have made me deeply hate them, its not just dislike anymore, i dont want milan to negotiate with any other former inter players regardless. nagatomo is nothing special and compared to taiwo or bosingwa or any other fullback is nothing special, he's only being praised because he came up with a seria b side and performed well, he'll end up with an average team again soon enough and pursue his career with one. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - abbeyleemania - 04-09-2011 i'd rather Milan to spend on Nagatomo instead Didac Vila...Bosingwa is a good player, but i doubt if he can accept bench role...Cissokho, Taiwo, Kolarov... i think that inter will pay 5 m euros to sign him. i'd rather to have Fucile(Porto's LFB) instead the likes of Criscito. He is really a quality player who works hard, both offensively and defensively very good... Fernando and Falcao are other quality players that i'd rather to have at Milan...Guarin from Porto and Vidal from Leverkusen are interesting players... Falcao is the closest thing to inzaghi. He is born to score... M.Sissoko, Asomoah and Sandro are the beasts for midfield. Regarding Pirlo, i really enjoyed our games vs inter...we did great...Tempo was always high. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Ca Rossonero - 04-09-2011 nagatomo is not very good. Fucile is almost exactly the same type as criscito. Where did this stereotype Criscito doesn't push up come from? He played LM for 2 years (stupid in my opinion but such is gasperini), he's a balanced left back. Fucile is a good name too, but he's hardly better than criscito going forward. All the guy needs is a good coach to use him in a 4 man backline and he'll be world class. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84qhqwNOUNE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbR8uHAyFiQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NslOSJb2dI RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 04-09-2011 Can't believe you guys are saying Nagatomo is not as good as Tawio or Criscito. His workrate and movement are great and he is willing to work for the team. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - sylrus - 04-09-2011 but nagatomo cant defend only good being an attacking fullback RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 04-09-2011 Have u seen Nagatomo plays more than 5 games? He can actually defend better than he attacks RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - abbeyleemania - 04-09-2011 Again Kaka calls...This time inzaghi called him back...it seems inzaghi is bored of relaxing and want another injured friend for himself... if we sell Flamini and dont renew Ambrosini or Pirlo, we could end up with another DM, long term replacement for Gattuso. Braida already said that we are following Fernando Reges... Reports says that we wont use our option to buy for Papa...i thought we signed him for 7 m euros. but i read this reports today that we loaned him with option to buy...its great...He can return to Genoa... Genoa played with 3 man defence, mostly 3-4-3...because of that we should be careful about signing any defender from them, because they are playing with extra sweeper...if Papa makes a mistake or he is slow for instance, it cant be a problem for them cuz they are +1 in that zone... |
