We don't need too many old DMs. Gattuso has been good this year but that position should be filled with an energetic DM who has better ability going forward since centre of midfield Allergi likes to used a DM (Bommel or Ambrosini). Milan should not play 2 very old DMs if Milan want to play in highest level.

Flamini should be sold. He was injured so often and he gets so big salary.

I don't see a big problem renewing all 3 IF we sell Flamini, Seedorf and invest in 2 young CMs like boateng (not style wise, but age wise.... 22-27).

We also got Strasser, Merkel so I don't see us being too old.


Besides all 3 are legends and great servants of the club, I'd like to see them retire. Truthfully I'd like to see Seedorf retire here too... but he is 35 and on verge of it anyway, and he's always said he'd like to play in Brazil for his wife who's from there.

Pirlo worked there, because he had Boateng and Robinho, who helped him so much, and ibrahimovic. his long balls are more effective with him, Boateng is very strong and someone who can keep the ball in further area, Robinho, moves a lot on the flank. So we got best out of best from him. He did his job well even by walking. But yet honestly Milan need a Seedorf typee (2002-2007) there if we want CL+ someone like Hernanes...

i want a midfield who can play at highest tempo, runs, creates, control the midfield, can win games...in the past, on CL glory times, one of our midfield trio was a match winner(Seedorf) One was regista and one was a fighter, ball winner. with this trio, we won CL 2times, played 4 semifinals, lost a final to Pool.

Solid defence+ great midfield+ strong team defence+match winner players=CL.

This is why i just want us to renew Pirlo at low cost and as not a first choice...But i can see juve will offer so much and long term contract...
