Sign him and Samuele Ricci and I wont complain. Tonali remains a dream for me but I’m afraid thats very unlikely.  They should talk to him to let him run down his contract and take him back for free then. That’s probably the only way we can get him back

Calm done bro, Joao Felix has never perform in more than 6 games per season

The only reason we signed Sottil is because we needed to fill another homegrown player spot in the squad and because he’s not expected to play every game or every other game. This is an international team now. Italians will be back ups/reserves from now on. Gerry doesn’t like his own kind. He probably pronounces his last name Cardinaleee.

I strongly believe Gerry's strategy is to monetise Leao (Saudi league) next summer (replacement: Sottil) and partially invest that cash in Ricci and another younger non-italian CB with european experience and the rest of the money goes into his pocket. I honestly dont believe in the

The only difference from last mercato was that this time they chose the new players wiser. I agree to sleeping giant, J.Felix is an incredible talent, but his determination levels are still questionable, and with a manager like SC (remember his bad relations with Simeone), its too early to say anything ! My worry is we have 2-3 starters on the left flank who are not the greatest in terms of grit (Leao, Felix, Theo), but this can hopefully change on how SC manages his team off the pitch.

By the way, are the Messi to Inter rumors have any truth in it ?

No, that story "leaked" from some dude who make parodies on Fabrizio Romano and similar guys...

I am afraid that he has an extremely long contract. Italy may be the only place where contracts are limited to be no more than 5 years. In English, Spain, I are aware of several 7 or 8 years long contract. I think Tonali is on 8 years? (What would be a good source to check that? I simply base all that on my own memory.)

He have contract till June 2028. Don't know if there are any extension clauses. Contracts you can check on transfermarkt.
Five years limit might not be bad thing. Imagine giving 8 years long contract to Origi Big Grin

Abate fired from Ternana and rehired 3 hours later. Problem stemmed from Abate not putting the son of the club president on the squad list. Players held an emergency meeting with the senior hierarchy to get him back.

Wish we would have done that

RE: Winter Mercato - 2025 - Sampinjon - 02-07-2025

It's crazy with those boards and players. Few months back in Serbia, Partizan's coach got fired because he played certain player. Club got new board and he got fired because that player was bought by previous board and playing him "sent wrong message to the supporters and public, insinuating that new board will continue where previous one stopped." Jorge Mendes will try to bring Bernardo Silva and Marco Asensio to Milan in the summer

If you are talking about the firing part, yes, we did that. Ibrahimovic fired Abate Sr. too.  Icon_lol2

Neither will be cheap, and I don't think we have a pressing need for them. I especially don't want Marco Asensio. He looks like a mercenary through and through. Even Bennacer would be ten times a player he is.
