What I mean is, can Chelsea for example sign someone as young as 16 from an Italian club? I know that these are only youth contract (until players turn 17 right? or is it 18?), but there has been instances of players leaving particularly for England.

Good point.

Somehow I remember that there was a period of time, when an EPL team can sign our youth while we couldn't, because there was a 2-year difference between the youngest age limit between an Italian club (18?) and an English club (16?). Because of that reason, Italian clubs lost many talents overseas.

I don't know if that has changed. We probably need a football historian to answer that question. Or Dev?

I think, but don't take this as any sort of certainty, that the rule in England is still the same. However, in Italy I think players at 16 can be signed to a short term contract (3 years, rather than the normal 5) so that clubs can basically hold onto them. That's what's happened with Donnarumma and Locatelli, but also Mastour and Cosimo La Ferrara in the past.

From what FM has taught me, and they are usually right about the rules. An under 18 player is on a yearly rolling contract in Italy and can't sign a fat one till he turns 18.

Patrick Cutrone promoted to senior team.
9 goals for Primavera this season

He's been great for the Primavera and the U19 so that isn't very surprising. Congratulations to him! Hopefully he'll get his chance in due time.

Cutrone was Massive on my last FM save. It would be awesome if he can be great for us.

How is it possible, that Tousart and Gabriel are higher rated then Donnarumma?

with Dembélé I am okay. but Tousart?

But I am very happy to also see Locatelli in here. I was worried, that he would be in the shadow of Donnarumma
