Well, all teams struggle with their finances. I had been saying this for a while, I actually free spending clubs like Real, City and Chelsea actually saved more clubs by over spending on players like Milner. With all the talks about the FFP, personally, I think it won't work on numerous reasons. What would work is having a hard salary cap on competitions, as not a lot of clubs can and is willing to spend 30mil on a player but more and more clubs are willing to give out 6-8 mil a year(before tax) to average players. By having a hard salary cap, players and clubs will realise that whoever they are paying better worth the money, since they are taking away resources for the team to get another player.

they have every intention of renewing Seedorf Rino Ambro Zambro and prob Nesta , a mid of Aquilani Nocerino Boateng mid and AM Merkel Urby Flamini Rino Ambro Seedorf is quite fine to them 9 players for mid 8 definitely and we only play 3 .No need to buy in their eyes.
I still think if galli could have money he'd get rid of Flamini Seedorf Ambro Rino but he doesn't and isn't going to say yeah we have no money so have to stay as we are is is good no but it will have to do.
No hope of Ganso Hamsik Ericksen or Fernando , Monty may come in the summer so that could be as good as it gets.Ibra also will need replacing next year he'll be 31 and for a forward thats fine with rotation but we have no sub for him , Cassano will also be 30 .
We have talking about a squad overhaul for almost 4 years none has happened to the level that was needed.Dammit a player every summer of quality ince 07 and say one in 08 winter and one in 10 winter we'd be a lot better off.But no couldn't do that.
I just would love to know the thought process that has gone into attempted rebuilding , because beside he's cheap and he's free there seems to be none.Hernanes was a huge mistake an absolute calamity as I have no doubt he would chose Milan over Lazio.now he'll cost anywhere from 20-25 million.Out of our range.

Well Jay, I doubt Flamini is staying next year due to him being free. Slowdorf will probably play till he can't anymore. Ambro will be out unless he has no place to go. Gattuso is going to play in Anzhi. MVB will probably leave. I really think Merkel will be key. Beside, what can us fan do? All chip in 2 Euros in order for Milan to get a better player? To me, as long as they don't open their mouth and say stuff like, they are a squad of champions, the best team in the world, the squad is as good as so and so team...and most of all, don't come out and say they will sign a great champion aka Mr. x and end up with someone like Aqua. We all have to make peace with that.

Flamini will take a pay cut as no1 will give him 5 m after tax , They have proved time and time again that they will renew any1 at any age Amro Seedorf and Rino I am convinced will stay anyway Anzhi can a higher profile and better player than Rino.Also they have said we are the best then only Barca are better then we are the best again even though Barca destroyed us but couldnt finish and we played the game of our lives defensively , also Galli said with Rino Seedorf Flamini we are fine.So they are saying the same schtick over and over.

If flamini can accept 2 mln a year,I don't have problem whith his stay.we won't spend little to find his replacement.gatusso and ambro should leave,we can extend seedorf and MVB 1 more year.we need to get montolivo and an anchor next summer.
So, our spend on midfield won't be a big sum.
There is a article about robben on goal.com. his contract expire in 2013,we might have chance next summer.

I don't want us to spend huge and get into debt.I just see a case of missing out on Hernanes add to if we got him Monty Aqua and some good young mid with Nocerino Urby Flamini ? Merkel and we'd have a good mid it would of cost not too much.But they never look to the future just the now and how cheap can we be (thats @ Berlusconi family not Galli) we ccould of had a great mid with sweet fup all investment.

Guys, come on. Since when you can take Galliani's words on this mercato stuff. Flamini won't be back until spring, God knows when Rino will be back (if ever). Even the ole reliable Seedorf has been out the last 25 days (not that I'm complaining
). Plus Prince will join his NT in early January preparing for the African Nations' Cup. They're the favorite mainly because of the absence of other traditionally strong teams like Egypt, Nigeria, and Cameroon, so expect him to be out until mid February.That leaves us with only a handful fit midfielders in Urby, Nocerino, Aquilani, Ambro, and van Bommel. Ambro has a history of both long and niggling injuries, while van Bommel has been noticeably worsening this season. They won't be enough for the second and decisive part of the season, especially if we are to compete in UCL as well, and I'm sure that Galliani & friends are aware of that.

not that I am superhot on this purchase, but I would still take this rumor lightly. first, it is goal.crap, second, it is Galliani.
