I've seen his younger brother's performance. a very good speedy winger,but lacked consistency seriously.

Yes, he is ballon d'or calibre and during his career considered one of the best players in the world. He is also considered by many as the greatest Danish player ever.
Brian Laudrup was highly skilled but never had half the career of Michael, so can't really be compared.
I saw Michael Laudrup mostly in his Barca and Real days, rather than at Juve. I became a Milan fan in Sacchi's era, around '88 when I found out that Van Basten and particularly Gullit played for Milan, as I was really impressed by Holland in Euro 88.

What I would call a rather strong link from Galliani. He's quoted as calling Mario Balotelli his "Passion".
Now, I'm not a genius, nor a transfer guru, but with Ambrosini, Van Bommel, Nocerino, Rino Gattuso, Urby Emmanuelson, & Antonini, the LAST thing I'd be looking at are Forwards to improve the attack.
Besides the fact this guy is quite clearly a nut case, who burns his house down, can't even put on a football pinny, & says some of the stupidest things a footballer can say, he's a slightly above average player. He's now playing in a team full of superstars. He's a good finisher, but he's not extremely technical, nor looks like he fights for the team. And if you substitute him out, g0d forbid.
We have Pato, Ibra, Robinho, Cassano, El Shaaraway, & Inzaghi. We currently only play with 2 maybe 3 strikers. Now unless Galliani knows something we don't know (like Pato & Cassano being sold) & Inzaghi retiring, then I don't know what the f&ck he's thinking.
Perhaps if he spends €30 Million +, he should spend it on a midfielder who can run. However, I have an eerie feeling of a Balo-Pato swap.

I couldn't be bothered (and I am too busy) to watch this young Dane Ericksen play. All these hypes got me curious. Maybe I should find a chance for that.
I only wish we had an European counterpart of Brasileiro who could just come in and tell us who is good and who isn't.

and I certainly agree that midfield is our top priority.
But someone did a research (was that also you?) a while ago showing how much money Berlusconi had spent on attackers and even defenders, but how little on midfielders.

Ericksen is good very good great for his age.Playing in Holland is difficult to gage how player is sometimes.In the CL he has played well he's skillfull good passer very cool head for a kid.If we could get him then do it and soon.

Russo I agree.. with zee DEJA VU....They should set up a members club sat 10 euro a year , you get a card maybe a news letter every month..and they would get a lot of members worldwide....is that stupid I think it makes sense.

You got respect a senoir milan fan's evaluation.Maybe platini's halo is too bright for a fan no-dane like me to notice the brilliance of laudrup.
I became a milan fan after Euro92 which is a first eye crash,his younger brother shined in that tournament.I didn't remember older laudrup,maybe he retired NT already back then.
What's your opinion about ericksen? does he have 50 mln pricetag potential?

Platini was brilliant and deserves an incredible amount of respect, but I don't like to go into comparisons between the two players, as both were superb talents and both have merited their legendary status.
About Laudrup in '92, he had quit the Denmark side at the time as he had problems with the coach. He did return later, but was ageing. At club level though, he won 5 La Liga titles in a row with Barca and Real in the early 90s. He was also a key figure in the Barca dream team.
As for Eriksen, I don't think he's worth 50m at this point. He has great potential, but at this point he's yet to actually achieve something in his career.

I think erickssen has potential,but not as huge as being able to reach 50 mln pricetag someday. 50 mln these days is a pricetag for a ballon d'or candidate caliber.His comparison model should better be modric who has a 25 mln pricetag now.
And I think platini got something uphand over laudrup,he is the go to guy in juventus while laudrup is a second fiddler.personal opinion only,I didn't see much old time games.
