RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 08-25-2011 Forlan for 5m and 3m a year wage is a huge steal. I thought Forlan is getting paid 8mil a yr though, does he wants to play for Inter that bad? B/c if that is correct, I am sure SAF would jump in and grab him. Kjaer for 10mil is his market price, since his wage is not that high. If I was an Inter fan I'd be pretty disappointed with Forlan if I'm honest. I have the greatest respect for the player, but he's 32, been really poor in the past season where I'm sure the off field politics has had an effect and for Uruguay, where the team has been pretty much built around him for years now, he didn't score in the Copa until the final. Now there's also talk of Borriello, who's an option but hardly an Eto'o replacement. Right now Inter really need a player that can lift them. Eto'o was that player, but he's gone now and they really lack alternatives. There's potentially Milito, but there's still questionmarks whether he can be as great as 2 years ago. If I'm honest, there's been talk of Tevez, but even with him I'm not sure Inter can be as strong as they can be with Eto'o. It is true that Forlan could be a huge steal for Inter, but I don't think Inter really need him. IMO, Forlan is not different to Millito and Pazzini. Last season was bad, only 8 goals in 32 league matches (1 in 6 EL matches). It would be more reasonable if Inter can sell Millito for more than 15M. Tevez is even better though the price must be economical. However, none can replace Eto. I link Eto with legend Sheva. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Nalx - 08-25-2011 Yeah, perhaps Forlan misses Jabulani much ![]() And does anybody know how's Kjaer doing in Bundesliga? How come his rumored price (around 10 M) is not substantially higher than when Palermo sold him a couple years back? RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - HO-YOUNG - 08-25-2011 before i complain or question the signings we made this summer i would first like to know the objectives/goals/ambitions of Burlu/Galliani's Milan... i want to know if what they want for milan is the same as what we fans want... if they only want to honour fixtures for TV revenue and not win trophies they should spell it out... us fans really want more than that... as it relates to the CL draw.. i hope we get a groud that Zlatan and Pato can announce themselves as CL beaters... For starter, Morratti never said A Champion will arrive. Anyhow, Forlan is still better than nothing for Inter after losing Eto. As you said, Milito just lost it last yr but at could also be bc he was not played as a pure CF. Pazzini is a solid striker and can't expect him more. Forlan no doubt had a down yr but his talents unlike other pure goal scorer, he does have tons of skills beside scoring goals. He is very good at drawing defenders, passing, holding up the ball... Honestly, I think Morratti did well by offloading Eto, since even with him, Inter probably won't go far in CL and it will be a dog fight with Milan in Serie A. Beside, I think Morratti will probably be selling more than buying, just surprise Maicon is still there. From the latest comments, I think the MGT think nay Barca are better than them, and Berlu actually think Barca won based on luck. To be honest, even JM knows that Barca is ahead of everyone and winning the CL must go through Barca. It is a fact either Barca win the CL or the team that knocked them out will. As MGT, you access your team and look at what you need to do to improve in order to beat Barca, unfortunately for us, The MGT either see Milan as a team who beat Barca with the additions of Mexes, Taiwo, El Sharraway and Aqua or just think, even with additional signings like Hamsik, Hernanes, Honda, and Ganso, Milan still won't defeat Barca. He could have played the next 3-4 years on top level at any club. If it really was all about the money, he could have gone to some rich American or UAE club at 35 y.o. What a strange decision by him. Though, knowing how stupid Inter are, I wouldn't be surprised if they forced him out of the team.
RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Nalx - 08-25-2011 Why shouldn't he? To begin with, he's a professional, which in the very sense of the word he works for or is driven by money. Secondly, what else does he need to prove now? He had proven Madrid was wrong with his exploits in Barca jersey, and then proven the latter wrong when offloading him to Inter. Lastly, while a 2-3 million a year difference in salary might not seem a lot to a millionaire like him, a € 20 million a year for the next three years is certainly too good to refuse. Didn't Ibra himself said that he hoped he would never have to be tempted with such offer? RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 08-25-2011 Well, considering he won two CLs with two different teams, on top of that he won every club honors in Spain and Italy, why won't he leaves? He will be getting paid twice as much as now while playing less games with add on benefits, such as housing and stuff. On top of that, maybe he really believe in this project. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 08-25-2011 (08-25-2011, 02:21 PM)fLame Wrote:(08-25-2011, 01:05 PM)Aficio Wrote: I also think Inter need strong forward like Borri or Hulk. Titles: He won everything he could, and he knows it is hard (almost impossible) for him to win more. Inter's chance for Scudetto is getting smaller, Real & Barca don't want him, only Chelsea and Man City can afford him but City's PL chance is small and Chelsea already have Drogba, Torress and Lukaku. And Inter are not like Milan, can win CL while finish 4th in the league ![]() 2. Money: He earns more than any players now at Anzhi (20.5M). Like you've said, he still can earn big money in Middle East or America when his contract with Anzhi ends. |
