RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - WCmilan - 08-22-2011 (08-21-2011, 11:25 PM)Siregar Wrote:(08-21-2011, 10:57 PM)WCmilan Wrote: I think it will be ganso.. maybe hamsik, what about neymar? just bringing up random talents that would be suitable as mr.x, and plus with berlusconi dont be suprised if our whole starting 11 are stikers one day
RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 08-22-2011 Only if they are FREE RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Kastriot - 08-22-2011 I think now we can say with certainty that Aquilani will be joining us, otherwise non of or management would not comment on him, not to seem desperate and increase the price. Not that greatest of players but all round midfielder that will be a good squad player in what seems to be a long season ahead. He actually had a good season with Juventus. Out of Montolivo or him i`d choose him since he always was the most talented one but injuries stopped his normal development. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 08-22-2011 Chosen Aqua between Monty is like choosing between a rotten orange or a rotten apple. You know how there is always a section at the supermarket where it say SPECIAL PRICE items, where everything there is actually a lot cheaper due to being damaged and unwanted goods. Thats where Milan like to shop. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - fLame - 08-22-2011 Guys, can we stop bashing the player before we even signed him and he played a single minute for us? Aquillani usually does solid for the NT, and yes, he was solid for Juventus last year. Boateng was also a "special price" item, Robinho too for that matter. And now they are an integral part of the squad. Let's wait and see how he plays before judging (or at least wait IF we sign him). RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - el fre - 08-22-2011 You guys should just relax. Thing aren't that bad. We are much stronger than last year, that's a fact. I personally think that Aquilani is a good addition, a solid midfielder who can be our best midfielder if healthy. We played without our best players during pre-season and still looked good. Now Pato, Silva, Ibra, Robinho, Aquilani will play and this must be enough to win serie A again, and that is, for me, objective tis year. CL is another matter. I do not want our club to be like real or barca and just buy like crazy while generating debt. That makes no sense. Spanish economy is in the toilet ( just like Italy's for that matter) and still they act like idiots. But hey, that will keep the crowd happy and not to think about real problems. But, unfortunately that's the only way to win the CL nowdays. One more thing. El Sharaawy. He is a typical ACM we need. Aquilani can be used in MC. You haven't even seen them play yet. So give them a chance and than start bashing the club. MAybe they did promise us big signings but the FINIVEST fine and Italy 's economy issues influenced our transfer policy. Still we managed to get quality players nad didn't sell anybody ( do not count pirlo becouse he never was part of allegri's plans). Stop behaving like some galacticos fans. We are the best team in Italy and that is enough for me right now. Abbiati Abate-Nesta-Silva-Taiwo Boateng-MVB-Aquilani Pato-Ibra-Robinho + Cassano, Mexes, Seedorf, Flamini ( all first team material IMO), El Sharaawy (hopefully) This looks pretty good to me. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Jay Crisp - 08-22-2011 Getting a bit annoyed that they won't spend a cent isn't acting like s galacticos fan.4.5 on El Sharawwy that was it. We have no transfer plan it's whoever is free or the cheapest , if Mexes and Taiwo were to have cost money then wouldn't be here.Aqualani is mr X no Aqualani is free for a year and 6 mil over 3 years.Thinking this is a bad transfer policy is not expecting 200 mil to be spent and behaving in a bad way, they fail to prepare so they are preparing to fail.Hernanes could of been got for 10 mil last year Pastore for 13 2 years ago but they balk at actually paying for players. El Sharawwy is a talent but he won't play much if at all . RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Siregar - 08-22-2011 I don't think we are MUCH stronger than last year. We got only Taiwo as probable starter and Zambrotta was not bad last year. We lost Pirlo who was our source of play in the first half of the season. If we don't get a player who can bring other thing than defensive duties like our DMs could offer, we could face big problem since we have only Seedorf. Seedorf is great when he is fit (he has the spirit so he always moves his ass) but we shouldn't forget his age. He is 35 years old and he plays in the midfield where his task not only offensive duties but also help defending (although his job more as offensive midfielder). He could not play in Serie A and Champions League. If he could play (well) regularly week per week (Serie A games), I would already be happy but I doubt he could. He is old and his problem should be lack of consistency of form due to his age. He could be also easier to get injured in his age now. I don' know if Aqualiani could similar job like Seedorf did (build our play). We definetely need a creative midfielder or a midfielder with vision or what ever people called it, player like Seedorf, Pirlo, on whom our game-play rely. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - el fre - 08-22-2011 Jay, I understand your frustration BUT the financial situation is very bad, world wide. It is only natural to consier the costs before you buy players for large sums. We invested in El sharaawy, youth player. No trasfer plan, that's true. But right now, i rather they spend little, than to generate debt and than sell best players...like Inter now... RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Beppe - 08-22-2011 Aquilani's agent is in Via Turati to talk with Galliani. Looks like we want him on loan with an option to buy for 8m. I hope we sign him, like I said before, he is a VERY talented midfielder, if he can stay injury free he can be a big hit. |
