I'm quite surprised you'd both let papastathopoulos go as he's better than Bonera and Yepes. Plus, if Nesta does retire we'll need some depth in the squad. I'd give him a chance!

In my opinion that's not the point. My post was in regards to the standards we are holding defenders. Arguably, Luiz being one of the best makes it even worse that he made a mistake like this.

Leonardo plays a big role in this because hes brazilian and im sure he'll make the best of ganso but we can't lose out on him. ganso is to big of a talent to let go and im 100% with good confident mind he'll be our next superstar. Him and pato should be wonderful and there chemistry will also improve for ur NT too

IMO papastathapolous is one of worst defenders i've seen at milan since.... well gooch, lol.

But i'll rephrase, minimum a loan cause he's looked awful. Bonera is very meh but as depth, he's fine. Plays every position at a competent level, is my 5th choicer cb anyway so when you get there it's not like you're expecting baresi, maldini, nesta
