6m and our lb problems would be gone.

Cissokho won't solve our problem, he will not be better than Taiwo.

Galliani is all set to leave for Madrid, according to Milannews.it. I think this deal is definitely going to happen. Kaka has no future in Real Madrid and they don't want to pay his wages anymore now that they have FFP to worry about. He wants to return to Milan, and Milan wants him back. On Sunday, Galliani smilingly told the media that something was brewing on the transfer market, but he couldn't talk about it. Nobody really paid much attention to this because everyone was talking about Cassano and Pazzini, but I had a feeling he was thinking about Kaka. And I doubt he would waste his time by going to Madrid just a week before the transfer window closes unless he feels pretty confident that it is possible to find an agreement with Real.

Valencia signed Aly Cissokho because they failed to land Didac Vila, so... no problem for us Grinundwech

cissokho is not a huge upgrade to what we have.. honestly, call me crazy im not very interested in investing in a LB, id have de scgilio play left back and antonini as his back up/they could fight for a starting spot.. If we can count ourselves out of CL it's worth trying, juve only had the scudetto to fight for last season and they played with de scgelie at LB most the season.. he's not a big upgrade if any at all to the LB's we already have

Again, everyone seems to have forgotten that Abate is an injury doubt. We only have De Sciglio and Antonini available for the Samp game right now, and who knows when Abate will be back anyway.

Nini on the left and DS on the right is our only options right now for the opener, and for who knows how long till our Sidebacks recover.

Also, DS is exclusively a right back. Why does everyone assume that he can do the same job on the left? Just because we've been blessed with a plethora of two footed sidebacks in recent years (Nini, Abate, Zambrotta) doesn't mean that EVERYONE can play both flanks. being used to having to defend players flanking on your right hand side doesn't mean you can do the exact same job with the same good results when players start cutting in from your left. There has been no evidence at all the DS can play on the left flank, even if he can hold his own on the right...

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 08-24-2012

De sciglio played lb against inter and did very well, probably his best game so far. And it's known that he's equally comfortable with his left foot as his right, so he can be added to our list of two footed wingbacks. We lack at left back we have a good right back in abate so I'd rather is de sciglio at lb.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Ryo - 08-24-2012

Well for the time being he'll have to play on the right. Who knows when Abate is gonna be back, and Vila too.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 08-24-2012

Yeah, playing him at LB was just a suggestion, giving our financial situation all I meant was that buying a LB shouldn't even be in our top 3 priorities. Our first priority needs to be a CB, mexes just doesn't do it for me and I can't judge Zapata yet but I'm not to convinced that he'll be able to fill in silvas boots and him along with mexes is NOT strong cb pairing. I would suggest getting mbiwa ASAP.

Our next priority after a CB should be a creative midfielder, honestly at this point de jong or diarra would do it for me, but it seems allegri is holding firm on playing Kaka infront of the defence if the deal goes through, for some reason? I mean what defensive qualities has she shown to be put in that position, he has great vision and is great on an attacking front even if he has lost some of his speed but I think playing in that position consists of more then that and our CM should be capable of holding the ball and defending more then anything(other then vision/creativity) plus with out cassano i'd think kaka would be vital to be played in the attack at cam or even SS if it comes down to it..

Our third priority should really be a striker to replace/back up pato.. An attack of binho, pazzini, els, pato is okay but look, pato is already out for a month that leaves us with only three strikers, that will be our trio up front with no subs? The ze eduardo deal fell through and greatfully to because i'd much rather have kept maxi lopez. Swapping mexes for bojan would be very ideal.. Bojan let's not forget was a huge prospect at barca and im sure we can revive him/make him fulfill his potential and he's not injury prone as far as i know.

Then, finally if we werent having financial difficulties my next two priorities would yes, be a left back and GK, Gabriel is very young and I don't see him starting for us any time soon, maybe in a few years he has lots of potential imho. Pazzagli? I don't know anything of him and he's not even in our squad on our website so IDK. Abbiati is old and get injured every so often.. He was clumsy and made stupid errors in a couple games in pre-season. Amelia was tipped as buffons heir many years ago but not even close. Out of 10 games i'd say he has 3 maybe 4 average-solid games.

At LB, we have didac vila who is recovering. As far as abate i think i remember hearing his injury isn't very serious and he might even be back for game 2 of seria a, so the following game after samp, its nothing to worry about. Muntari, vila and strasser are long term injuries of 3months + i believe. Inter made a great signing of perreira but at close to 11million euros i'd have counted us out if we ever were interested.. What about nagatomo now? I wouldn't mind having him at this point.

BTW, the real reason ze eduardo didn't end up a milan player is because we wanted to make him "try out" for our team, he took it offensive as if he isn't a professional footballer and said no and rejected coming at all (good job allegriBig Grin)

And on Bojan, apparently he's on a 2year loan deal with roma and is still owned by barcelona.. So the mexes-bojan swap seems a load of crap to me.
