@DiMarzio : Andriy Shevchenko in talks with Genoa for the bench.

Excellent! In 2-3 year's Sheva will be ready to take over AC Milan.

Genoa gives him experience at a club level in Serie A.

The agent of Panathinaikos midfielder Sotiris Alexandropoulos has confirmed that several big clubs want his client but stopped short of naming Milan as one of them when questioned -CM

He plays double pivot.

AC Milan face concrete competition in the race to sign Julian Alvarez from River Plate as a Serie A rival are serious about landing him, a report claims.-CM

It won't just be Fiorentina, kid is talented.

RE: Winter mercato 2022 - Zio Fester - 11-06-2021

Milan are still on the trail of Porto forward Jesus Corona and could try to sign him on a free transfer next summer, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com reported last month how the Rossoneri management targeted the Porto winger in the middle of August and things started to advance quickly due to the positive relationship between all the parties involved. However, the Mexico international did not end up joining as the asking price of €12-13m was considered too high by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

Milan signed Junior Messias from Crotone on deadline day instead and he has not impressed so far, which is why the idea of looking for a long-term solution seems to have returned to the fore.

RE: Winter mercato 2022 - Zio Fester - 11-06-2021

The chances of AC Milan striking an agreement with Franck Kessie over the extension of his contract are now so slim that his exit is ‘almost inevitable'.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes about the Ivorian’s situation and about the strategies of Milan.

The paper states that Kessie’s farewell is now almost certain. The negotiations for the renewal have long stalled as the distance between the parties are too wide to think of being able to reach an agreement.

Alexandropoulos is a modern box-to-box, great stamina and technique and is considered as the most talented midfielder in Greece. A player with great potential and work-rate.

Talking about Box-to Box midfielders Frattesi, would be an interesting addition in my opinion.

Faivre should be priority for January, along with a replacement for Kessie if possible. If we're not getting any $ at all for Kessie we should be 1000000% in for Kamara. He's the only feasible replacement in terms of quality and similarities to Kessie. On top of the fact that he could be free with a precontract and arrive in summer.

Next season we'll have Adli which is huge, he's been so impressive. Our midfield will be stacked with him and Kamara we won't feel Kessie leaving.

Anyone notice we seem really shit at scouting African players?
Who was the last good player we signed from Africa? Why can't we get good talent from there ?

I'm still reserving judgement on Bennacer at present.

Obvious answer is Kevin-Prince Boetang,  but been born and  raised in Europe doesn't really cover what I am asking.

Kessie 1 good season and now sucks and 99% gone.

Why do we keep getting Ballo-Toure,  Mesbah,  Taiwo, Constant, Adiyah, Muntari and Traroe like signings?

Where are our Drogba, Adebayor Koulibaly and Yaya like players?

I hope Bennacer breaks that streak along with Traroe (youth team).

Alexandropoulos seems like quite the talent. Do you know how ready he is ?

He had a good game against Udinese,  I think he scores too.

An excellent box-to-box midfielder, robust runner-in between who has Barella-like potential. Kessie only beats him with physicality.
