De rossi is the icon of roma,he won't leave just like totti. mario cost around 30 mln,too expensive for us.better forget them both.

So you would want Ibra-Torres partnership with Pato & Cassano on bench? Also Inzaghi & El Shaaraway as super backups. And you would want Robinho, the glue that holds our offense together to be shipped to Chelsea?
I just want to understand here what it is you want. You also I believe wanted Mario Balotelli in the past. A troublemaking- slightly above average player.
I just look at our squad and to me we're very top heavy. I wouldn't think for a second to update or improve our attack as I think it could be one of the best in the World! I would, however, look to get an ACM, and eventually a replacement for the aging VanBommel & Ambrosini.
However if the right players are on the field, we could be very dangerous. I don't think we're far from being an excellent team, and I'm super happy so far with Aquilani, and would even like to try him out in CDM spot.

Watched Montolivo today in a 2-2 Draw with Fiorentina. He played in a CDM role and sent a few nice passes. He has a similar style to Pirlo but his errand tackling lead to Catania's 2nd Goal.
Currently watching Juventus-Genoa. First, I think Matri is a very good striker and glad to see him do well. I hope we see a trident of Rossi-Cassano-Matri for Nazionale. Chiellini is not playing well at LB. He blew an open header on goal, and was at fault *out of positon* for Genoa's goal. Also to be said, Merkel looks great as trequartista in this game and sent one of the best crosses of the season for Marco Rossi for Genoa's Goal. I really wish we kept Merkel as he could have helped us and I hope we bring him back next year.

Indeed, very solid performance from Merkel. Great minds think alike.
No but seriously, Merkel is having a great game. O_O He is currently Genoa's best player in attack (hit the crossbar just now).
I hope Galliani is watching.

Merkel is playing very good... maybe only Pirlo is playing better. He actually is probably the ideal midfielder we could use in our formation now. He had a great assist, nearly scored a wonder goal from a cross, and hit the post with a header. And what, he's only 19 playing for a new team against Juventus at their ground???
Oh but wait, we traded his 50% plus another 5m for 50% of El Shaarawy's contract...... now we have to buy him back...
