RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 08-18-2011

If I work at the Milan MGT, I would really push for players who can generate revenue on and off the pitch.

Kaka is one of them. His on field contribution might not be as good as before but if he can show just 60% of how he played consistently, then he is already better than all of Milan current midfielder at the moment. He might not sell as many jersey as before but surely he would sell more than the likes of Boateng, MVB, Gattuso, Slowdorf, Ambro, Flamini and Urby. On top of that, sponsors might pay more due to having a star like Kaka.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - ACM1899 - 08-18-2011

I never agreed to the price of kaka. 15 maaaax.

And he is different than sheva. Kaka would be welcomed with open arms. If he doesn't come we'll be fine for another year in seria a

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - abbeyleemania - 08-18-2011

Sheva was hero here once upon time, He was the most loved Milan player. He went to Chealse because of,

1-His wife wants to go to there.
2-Abramovic, who was his great friend wanted him too much.
3-Milan was not renewing his contract because of his age.
4-Sheva's wage was lower than Kaka's btw.

Kaka was in decline, He was already earning very high wages and he had a long contract. Kaka was earning 9 or 10 m euros,
thanks to his pay rise demands, Whenever Real wanted to sign him, Kaka asked for a pay rise.

Kaka is alone is better than our all midfielders? Seedorf s 35 years old, he s still doing amazing job. Seedorf is on different level since last year's 3-0 derby victory. Seedorf at Kaka's age was one of the best midfielders in the world. Kaka is already finished player.

Nope, Fans wants new excitements. For instance Boateng is a hero. He is a showman, he shows figthing spirit and real character, i'd buy his shirt instead Kaka's.

We already have enough big names to sell shirts. T.Silva, Pato, ibrahimovic, Robinho e.t.c.

According to whom? According to press? We didnt link with T.Alcantara before. i just mentioned his name here before, thats all. But Galliani declared that we have asked for him to Barcelona but they didnt want to sell him.

(08-18-2011, 12:28 AM)Gregorio Wrote: It seems that Kaka will be Mister X!!

Reasons:

1. After the Spanish Super cup everybody can see that Kaka is not a starter in Mourinho's team, he didn't even play 20 minutes during the two legs!
2. Kaka is too much cost for being on the bench for Real!
3. He used to be the world player of the year, who doesn't want to sit on the bench and he knows he can be a starter in Milan!
4. Boateng is moved back to midfield, which means we are looking for a trequartista!
5. Everybody knows how Galliani and Berlusconi loves Kaka, and have very good relations with Perez!

Kaka wants to play and move back where he was loved and won so many silverware. Milan can guarantee him the starting trequartista role, everybody wants him back, and that's why he will take a pay cut!
His price is around 25 million €, which is the top Milan can pay for a Champion, and for lower the price Galliani will make the move on the last day!

Kaka was not Milan's Mister X in the beginning of Summer, we wanted to sign a left midfielder, but we failed so the management decided to change direction, move Boateng back to the midfield to make way for Kaka!

Kaka is not the same player he used to be, but he still has speed, movement and vision. He will be happy again, and after two difficult years he will be hungry and motivated! he wants to show that he is not finished!
Milan need a creative player for 2-3 years, so this is a smart move! He still can offer us a lot and the best option right now out there! El Shaarawy can develop next to his idol and take his place after he
retires!

I have a feeling that we will sign Montolivo too. With this two signings we are set!
Great post mate. I really really liked it. Much better and realistic than saying Fabragars, Hamsik, Bastian would be Mr. X.

Kaka welcome home!

Kaka will finish 2nd behind Messi in the 2011-12 world footballer of the year race.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 08-18-2011

IMO, we have high change of signing Christian Eriksen now:

1. He has almost all the requirement for Mr.X, except only his height (1m77). He is not a star yet. Raiola is a Dutch and has already worked with Ajax for Urby.

2. Together with Genoa, we can afford him.
- Boateng's case proved the effectiveness of Milan - Genoa axis, one has football benefit, the other gain financial profit. They bought Boa for 6.5M, we gave them 1.5M for co-ownership, so they invested only 5M. Then we gave them 7.5M for full ownership, so they made a profit of 2.5M, means 50%, a great business.
- His value is now 7M. We can buy him with 12-14M equally shared between us and Genoa, next year if he performs, we will give them 6-7M + about 3M.

3. He said he wants to develop, so he will not go to bigger clubs only to sit on the bench. However, he likes bigger clubs (of course) and there no real competition for ACM in Milan. Boateng agreed to play CM (at least he said that), Shaarawy need weight training to build up muscle, Seedorf lack the speed while both Cassano & Binho are not true ACM.

4. Last but not least, he has the abilities we needs. Eredivisie has just begun but he has assisted 3 times in 2 matches. Last season he scored 6 goals, assisted 11 times in 28 matches of Erevidisie and possess major experience with Europe & international level football. Finishing & passing, checked. He is quite fast, but the most important is he can keep a low gravity point, so he can change direction quickly, that makes his dribble very effective, like Messi.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Nalx - 08-18-2011

Shoot, now that Zeekay has made his annual mark-my-words it becomes pretty simple: we MUST do the opposite Icon_lol2

Montolivo has never been reached Kaka's height and perhaps never will. But at Kaka's condition now, for the price he's at (Berlu said we must buy him outright and his salary), I think Montolivo can offer just as much in terms of football and cost a whole lot less.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Revolver - 08-18-2011

There goes another player... So no Schweinsteiger too.

OK, if it wasn't clear before, now it's clear that Mister X was just media game.

We would buy anyone who can improve us in midfield and who's price and wages are not high.

Kaka's buying is good enough for me, yes he lost his speed, but he's still a quick player with great movement and great vision. And more important, proven in big games.

And as much as his name sounds good, we need another player beside of him, because we're left with only one real midfielder who can create and yet be effective in the final third, and he's 35. Boateng in LCM beside Van Bommel and Gattuso sounds laughable to me. Worse than last year. Better play Seedorf. Hope we will get Aquilani or Montolivo.

But as we've missed all of our target this summer, it seems likable that we will not be able to sign anyone and we will eventually get Kaka on loan with his wages cut at half and present him as our big signing (Mister X) on Berlusconi Trophy.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Siregar - 08-18-2011

He is 19 years old and only started to play regular with Ajax last year. We have Shaarawy and Valoti for young CAM so spending 12-14 mil euros for another young CAM is not a smart move for Milan IMO. Many players need to adapt to Serie A including the experienced ones and we can't wait for long time until he is ready for Milan. It is better we sell one of Urby or Flamini and add to 12-14 mil euros to get a better and experienced player.

The most important thing to remember IMO is that we need CM more than CAM since we only have Seedorf for this position.

IMO, Eriksen with one of Aqui/Monty. Valoti is for Primavera and Shaarawy needs some months to be ready and he can rotate with Eriksen then.

It is not wise, but still OK. I just want to give another choice. After Boateng said about playing CM, I think maybe ACM is the main goal, not LCM.

And Fio has given all the pursuers of Montolivo an ultimatum. Friday (tomorrow) is the last day for any talk.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Best-Pundit - 08-18-2011

What if Galliani signs Kaka for 12 mil, Aqualini for 4 mil, Diego for 5 mil & Montilavo for 5 mil on the last day? That would mean a total sum of 26 mil. Surely even in so-called-financial crisis, ACM could spend that amount of 4 world class players Sagrin

I bet if that happens, every one on MM would put Galliani's pic in their avatars & change their signatures to Galliani's quotes like 'We rule the transfer market', 'We are Champions' etc etc .....
