I could puke right now

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Stitch - 08-21-2012

sometimes i still hope that this bullshit is a dream and that i'll wake up and ibra & silva will still be with us
It is also reported that if Milan do not get their hands on Pazzini, a deal seeing Cassano arrive at Inter could still be concluded, and the Rossoneri would then turn their attention to Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella.

If that means Gabriel getting more chances, I am ok with that. This summer is indeed the most depressing one ever.

In 1 or 2 days the most he will be confirmed.

I don't mind that. We need a player like him - it is the allegedly 7M payment that pissed me off.

Say, why didn't we trade him to Sampdoria for Poli? I thought that Allegri rates Poli very highly.

It isn't so bad, don't forget Inter paid 18 million to got Pazzini, while Cassano cost not more than 5 million.
Milan needs more a player like Pazzini as he is the only one who can replace Pato (prima punta) though they can play also together, while instead of Cassano(seconda punta) there are more options.
Pazzini is a box player similar to Inzaghi in a way and has a strong header. He was always a very good player with the exeption of Inter when they were changing their coach every morning.
Now with the departure of Cassano, Kaka is more needed.

Pazzini is a milan player, tomorrow he will go for the medical. Even his shirt number is chosen, it's No 11

Montelivio and Pazzini played together with Fiorentina and both were great.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - nefremo - 08-21-2012

I really am not surprised by Cassano. He's always been a dirtbag everywhere he's been. I was expecting this sooner or later. I've never been a big fan of his anyway. I admire his talent....but I can't stand his lazyness and attitude. The guy could have been a great, but he only cares about himself. Never does any defensive work on the field and is only interested in the game when he can be in the center of it. He hasn't been fit enough to last a full game (effectively) in years now. And although many may not agree with me and I may get attacked for my statements, I just don't really care about him to be honest.

My only problem with this whole situation is that we are giving away one of the few creative tools we have in the team. Pazzini is the type of striker that we actually can use in our team.....however he is useless without the proper creativity behind him. So even if I'm ok with Pazzini, we need creativity in the midfield. I've been saying that the whole summer and I can't believe that we may not even address that problem.

I'm very interested to see what happens next.

Mourinho will not let him join any CL team. I don't think we have a chance with Sahin.

If we had to get a striker from Jube, my pick would be Matri who came out of Milan youth rank and worked well with Allegri before at Cagliari.

I am aware of their respective purchase prices, but IMO, just because Inter Merda paid an excessive amount and we didn't should not still be the major considerations in any future deal, but anyway, I suppose that Milan were just trying to be kind to Cassano and not let the transfer fee become the problem for him to leave. I sometimes wish that we could just hold a player against his will just to punish him, but I am also aware that it may do more harm to the team that way. Guess it is true that nice guys finish last.

I agree that we now despearately need someone like Kaka who can create, and can perform under pressure. Maybe Berlusconi will finance this transfer out of his own pocket? We will see.

All major numbers (2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13) have been claimed, except for #11. That, and the fact that Cassano did not take #10 when it was vacated, makes me think that all the rumor revolving around Cassano/Pazzini might not have just been a rumor. All these might have been long planned or at least, anticipated.

Good to hear that Montolivo and Pazzini played together in Fiorentina (some also added Atalanta, don't know if it is true). That could prove instrumental for the new season.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Dha Brain - 08-21-2012

Supposedly As Roma is considering selling or loaning us bojan krkic, he wants more 1st team football he's very young and at barca look destined to be a star roma paid a massive amount but watching him in la liga reminded me of messi as extreme as it sounds

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - xudong - 08-21-2012

I don't know about Bojan. He seems to have weak mentality, and we don't need players like that. We need players with heart and gut.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 08-21-2012

About inter paying that big amount for pazzini, let me also remind you they paid what 20 million euros for ranocchia Big Grin?

10mln for guarin?(not worth it imo)

They over pay for a lot of players, then again they got good deals like sneijder, maicon and milito.
I think bojan would be a good transfer hes still a good age and hes really talented, in his barca days he was amazing like dha said

Sneidjer was sold when Madrid didn't want them, along with Robben, Huntelaar and Van Der Vaart. If we had paid out the 8m necessary for each of those 4 players that year, we wouldn't even be in the current position right now. 24m for VDV, Hunt and Sneidjer and our midfield would have been pretty much set for the last few years.... oh well... our management never learns, so I'm not surprised at all.
