You could stick a fork in Pazzo he's done.He's lost that yard of pace that'd get him infront of the def in the box and has become worse for it.His wage costs almost €5.4m a year with the taxes.He is passionate but not as effective and if actually a squad with prime Pippo Sheva or Crespo Pazzo could play the Tomasson role but unfortunately he's a luxury the club cant afford IMO.

Yes, but he is like Inzaghi. Didn't Inzaghi himself have a few seasons that made people think that he was past it? Then he just came back?
anyway, I guess I am okay with Pazzini leaving, but seeing Torres earning but not deserving his high salary makes me kind of upset.

Pazzo is nothing like Pippo.Pippo had some lean and i mean very lean years , but in huge games and I mean huge he turned up.There will never be another Pippo.

I would really take the salary issues out of the consideration when it comes to player evaluations. Truth of the matter is, we actually don't really know what the financial issues of this club really is. At the end of the day, teams need to pay for players, that's just the reality of it. Why is it that we are still losing money when we lost over half of our wage budget over the last few years? That's probably the better question here. We can keep talking about cutting the fat from players' mouth, but I have a feeling our money problem comes from somewhere else.

If I were a betting man, I would put money on Locatelli not even making it to first team before being sold off somewhere else. Just looking at the strategy of this team, and I really don't know how any of the talented young players who can be sold for decent cash will be able to stay. Make no mistake about it, this team's strategy, even this year, is to go for the CL spot at all cost (or at no monetary cost, in our case). The players we are signing are all for immediate contribution, not long term growth curve. If anything, we sold our long term prospect to fund another readily available contributor in Bonaventura.
From where I am sitting, the strategy seems to be to do our damnest to get CL spot every year, even at the cost of future prospects. Given the nature of our transfer dealings of cheap and free and old, qualifying for CL every year is pretty much impossible. We would be lucky if we get in there once or twice a decade. The shortcomings on funding, will therefore, come from the team itself. Since all the established stars have been sold, kids like Cristante needed to be used to raise cash. That's why youngsters Locatelli and Mastour will most likely be sold at some point to the highest bidder. Strategically, I just don't see this team being able to develop and maintain a squad of young players who needs time to mature.

Did anybody read Ancelotti's comments about managing Milan in the future?
Ancelotti: "If I decide to return to Italy, then it will only be to coach Milan."
Wouldn't it be amazing if Carlo returned after his stint at Real Madrid like Mancini's done at Inter? He would be the perfect person to coach our talented youth players like De Sciglio, De Santis, Locatelli & Mastour. Can't see this happening for at least 3 years though.

Why did Ancelotti leave Milan in the first place? Financial reason (Milan can't afford him any more), or was he getting tired of Berlusconi's daily BS?

I have to be honest I have no fucking clue what management's doing. On one hand they talk about youth project and the other CL. It's clear you can't qualify for CL with youth alone but neither with a squad full of fodders. Whilst we have some excellent talent coming through it'll be several years before they make any meaningful impact.
Meanwhile, can you imagine how strong Juve, Roma, Napoli, Inter will be by then? They're already spending millions now so will have impeccable squads then. Have to say I admire what Thohir's doing at Inter. He took the opportunity to hire a world class proven winner (Mancini) despite still having to pay Mazzarri's wages. Meanwhile we're fighting Seedorf's severance package in courts and hired Puppet Pippo because he's free.
Also, they're not afraid to invest in champions like Icardi, Hernanes whilst integrating youth players like Obi yesterday. They're in another league at managing youth compared to us. Several of their midfielders (Benassi, Duncan) are enjoying their second season in Serie A as starters. Others like Cristieg are playing their first. Meanwhile we sold Cristante whilst Fossati is rotting in Serie B for the 3rd successive season. A player who's probably more talented than Inter's trio but was horribly mismanaged. He made a big mistake leaving Inter's primavera to re-join us.
We are truly pathetic Bbilan, Freelan, Milan Merda!

“There are some Presidents who are fans and grew up with certain club colours. Silvio Berlusconi is one of them.
“He’d call me all the time to ask why this player was picked ahead of another one. Florentino Perez does not do that.”
