Saelemaekers only has 2 assists from 15 games in all competitions for the Rossoneri so far in the current campaign.
The 22-year-old has also not scored a single goal this season and is on a goalless run of over 40 games.

Ended 3-8 on aggregate.
Mourinho claimed they were robbed by the ref as they should have had a penalty. However, he did not mention that they were gifted the 2-2 goal which was offside... So with VAR it would probably end 2-2 anyway.

He has some interesting qualities, but should definitely have had more assists+goals from his position. Which is why we're looking for alternatives for the upcoming transfer windows.
