Let's see what he can do, he hasn't done anything since *before* he was last there (I don't count Bayern winning Bundesliga special, his Napoli and Everton time were even less special)

Same. I think he knows well that he could no longer repeat what he did in the past, so he may as well quit (Milan-wise) while ahead.

I feel like those are the only teams that can afford to pay his salary and wil also be attractive to him.
I'd throw Chelsea and Liverpool in there, but I don't think they'd be interested.

Bayern can't afford him, their financial status pretty same as other non EPL clubs, only PSG and Pl clubs can afford him. So finally Messi coming out of his comfort zone?
