I would choose De Zerbi over that old bastard Gasperini. Given proper resources he can well turn Milan into poor man's Pep era Barcelona.

This. Not a fan of Gasperini.
I'm also not a fan of bringing in Shevchenko.
If we're not bringing in a good established coach then I'd rather De Zerbi. Sheva has done well with Ukraine but coaching a NT is vastly different to coaching a club.

might be different coaching NT and club, but, Sheva with his Ucraine, has delivered some good clashes with heavyweight opponents

I don't want to see that happen, but it seems inevitable. After Seedorf (#10), Inzaghi (#9), and Gattuso (#8), it is about time that Shevchenko (#7) has his legacy with us ruined.

I hate him more than Mourinho. I don't care how genius this little old man is. He is grumpy, dirty, and petty. Tactics is important for a team's success, but man-management is important too. Gasperini is definitely going to ruin the team chemistry whenever things aren't going his way, and that eventually will lead to failure of the team collectively.
Speaking of that, I have now a mixed feeling with Pioli. I think he is great at man-managing, and has the support of most players. He has also shown that he may not have the genius tactics that can take us to the next level, unfortunately.
As for the next season, I don't mind him staying. After all, I am used to mediocrity (no sarcasm) for almost a decade now, so one more year for me wouldn't hurt too much while we look for a great master.
