RE: Summer mercato 2024 - reza - 07-22-2024 I disagree with the notion that if they didn't do well after leaving us then no big loss. Two reasons: -We should be signing good players, sell him or not we should hope we originally signed a good player. -Lack of success at Anderlecht doesn't mean he would be lacking success if they stayed here, environment is and must be different. Actually it is a must for a team like Milan to be creating better paths for success than others, probably one of the best signs of a good team is this. He could have had a much better career, in Serie A, in my opinion. Well, it is what it is. So one way or the other, it has to be Milan's fault ? More conpetition every day. Only Milan will quickly reach an agreement with a player, then proceed to spend four weeks haggling with the club and eventually lose the player. It's like we go into these negotiations blindly, without knowing what it takes, what the selling clubs want or what? Or is this sheer stupidity or something? How and why does it take us weeks and months of to negotiate a single transfer? We don't know what we want or what is needed before we go after the player? Bunch of morons running the club. Forgive my rant, but it's really annoying and frustrating. Or, all these 'negotiations' were fabricated by media, did not exist at all and we never were really interested in that player. Milan do what they think is best for the club not for the player. I'm just saying that for Cutrone himself it was a career wrecking transfer because he ended up in a club/country that was not right for him. I won't blame Milan for selling to the highest bidder, but it's still sad to see what it did to the career of a player who really loved our club. Or do most clubs do this, but we just don't hear or read about it before their transfers are done? Anyway, latest reports are that we're close to agreement with Monaco and expect to seal the transfer within 48-72 hours. Let's hope it's true. RE: Summer mercato 2024 - sylrus - 07-23-2024 ofcourse we dont hear or read about it, lots of young players is like this, not just happen to us milan RE: Summer mercato 2024 - Leoni9900 - 07-23-2024 Milan raise their offer for Fofana from 12 to 14 million fixed. Apparently it’s an agreed upon amount and Monaco will accept. Let’s hope RE: Summer mercato 2024 - Sleeping Giant - 07-23-2024 (07-22-2024, 08:11 PM)Arildonardo Wrote: I believe Cutrone was shocked when he was sold and never recovered from it, so I think it ruined his career. Most of his hype was created by that 2017 season and then he sunk back to his level. He had played and scored consistently for all Italy national teams from 15 to 21. Based on most strikers signed during his time and after we could have save both money and blushes by keeping him. Piatek, Andre Silva, Rebic, Kalinic, Lapadula, Borini... He wasn't going to be world class, but as a second/third choice he would be better than all of them. |
