Well, if there's one person that can help us recover, then it's definitely Galliani.
Certainly explains why we prefer all those free transfers.
What's really strange is that Barca shows with debt similar to ours. I thought Barca had ridiculously large debt?
p.s. despite all of this, it's nice to know Inter is doing worse than us + it seems like they will have to sell their stars
Even if they sell Eto + Sneijder for 80 million, they will still have higher debt than us.

What's that based off ? ..Man Utd aren €789 million debt as I read last week..R Madrid spent Luke 500 million in 3 years win a coopa del Rey and they are in a profit..Barca owe more than 71 million..I must of missed something.

Well, I copied that info off of Inter Forums. If someone knows a reliable source to double check those figures, please post it, as the numbers seem off for me as well.
Alright, I found a different article which states debt figures from last year -

Seems like the figures from Inter forums show losses over one year, and not the general debt.

I would love to know how they calculate the value of the club, like squad worth, brand name, world wide appeal.....
As for the FairPlay, aka FFP. It really does not matter where u start, it states at the club needs to have an improvement, thus, maybe ManCity is at -249.5mil now, all they nned to do is to make sure it is -249.4mil by next year in order stay within UEFA rules.

From the looks of it the top list doesn't take into account debts owed, the second list is just turnover the and the graph is the yearly profit/loss for a club including debt repayment which is why Manure is in the red.

In order to have even 0.1m improvement, the club needs to have net income.
Net losses come from not only the transfer expenses
Though it's nice to know ManCity can no longer splash ridiculous cash on the market.

Yep, seems like you are right. These are years to year figures, not the accumulated debt numbers.

I really would not look too much into debt. As ManU debt is based on their owners getting a bank loan to purchase ManU instead of paying in full like all other owners. Due to this, ManU must pay about 75mil interest per year. In other words, thanks god for their owners or else ManU would have an extra 75mil to spend every year.
Point is improvement is far from balancing the book. All ManCity needs to do is cut a player lose, ie buy out his contract or restructure his contract in order to satisfy UEFA rules.

That goal.com article about Inter should scare everyone here. Yeah, it's great to see Merda crash and burn, but this is happening all over serie A. Serie A is crumbling. And the more it crumbles, the less money Milan will earn, which means the more often a Kaka situation will happen again.
The future is really looking bleak to me. Forget Fabregas, we have more important problems.

Inspecting events from this angle puts that recent Barbara Berlusconi (btw, that should "BaBe" in short
) quote about everyone is sellable, including Pato, into a much different perspective...

Actually, most of Spanish clubs are nearly bankrupt
The financial situation in La Liga is much worse than in Serie A. But they have higher revenues, higher public appeal and rake in pretty much all of the trophies.
