RE: Winter mercato 2023 - Sampinjon - 12-21-2022

Just give him 4,5. In month or so he'll ask for 5, than month later 5,5 etc. Pattern is well known...

Maignan's injury is just ridiculous. The guy hasn't played for months and still isn't recovered from that injury? I said it before and I will say it again, we have one of the worst medical staff in the business. Every year we lead the league in games missed due to injuries, most of which are muscle strains, which is preposterous for a young team like ours. That is the first area that need a total revamp if I was running things

The medical team is an an embarrassment, probably Pioli's drinking buddies.

Maignan has been injured since September and its not even a hand injury. He is a freaking GK. Was supposedly recovered a month ago but yet here we are.

No other club in Europe has this many injuries and such long recovery times. It's shameful.

Mediasport: Milan have reached an agreement with Marco Sportiello. They are pondering bringing him in January but would need to 1. Give a fee and 2. Wait until Atalanta have a backup for Musso.

So, we will have Maignan, Sportiello, Tatarusanu and Mirante along with Jungdal.

We will have more GK than RW!

RE: Winter mercato 2023 - Demonbanana - 12-22-2022

Not that much of any would will happen but for mine this window we need:

RW- one of Messias or Saladmaker MUST go. For mine Salad since 1. He is not Milan material and we might get cash for him. Messias has no resale but at least he can score.
CM- we can't go into the business end of the season with just Pobega and Krunic as backup.
LB- we need Parisi or similar to support Theo and not Fodder- Toure.
CAM- CDK should probably get some time but might also play CF more. Get Kamada!

Ideally: terminate Bakayoko.
Advise Real Madrid that Diaz is returning to them, NOT good enough even as a squad player IMO.
Loan or sell Origi.
Find a replacement for Rebic.
Loan Jungdal

most ideal situation for Jan
RW - no significant incoming this Jan
CM - There is good chance we might and must get Aoaur for cheap. He is improvement over Pobega and Baka, he is going from rough phase of his career, just 2 seasons of ago, he was at par with Bennacer. For small fees, he is worth the risk
LB - Parisi would cost good sum of money and i don't think Empoli will sell their best among players in the mid season
CAM - Not seeing any incoming

And Sportiello for goalie

When Milan Picked Origi Over Kolo Muani

Quote:by Football Italia
Milan had the chance to sign Randal Kolo Muani in the summer and held talks with his entourage before deciding to go for Divock Origi, reports detail.

The 24-year-old Frenchman shot to prominence this month after impressing in both the World Cup semi-finals and finals, scoring in the former and providing an assist in the latter. Kolo Muani announced himself on the world stage and attracted attention from clubs across Europe, giving him something to smile about despite his silver medal in Qatar.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan duo Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara made a move for Kolo Muani in the summer, holding multiple talks with his representatives. The Frenchman had just left Nantes after his contract expired and was available on a free transfer.

After some consideration, the Rossoneri decided to turn their attention to Origi, who had just left Liverpool, and handed the Belgian a four-year contract.

Kolo Muani went on to join Eintracht Frankfurt, signing a five-year deal, and he’s immediately impressed in Germany, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists in 23 appearances across all competitions

MilanNews: Messias was not able to partake in either of the friendlies against Arsenal and Liverpool in the Dubai Super Cup last week, leading to questions about his physical condition and why he has had another period of absence.

Our players get injured even when we have 2 months off just to train and get back to fitness  Facepalm

Could send one of Tartarsauce or Mirante for free.

In in ideal world, sure. But I think unless Leao is sold now and we're signing replacement, or we're signing another keeper, we likely won't see much movement, if any.

It's laughable isn't it. Milan Lab has been an issue since the days of Pato... here we are in 2022 and still have the same issue that hasn't been fixed.

RE: Winter mercato 2023 - Aficio - 12-23-2022

Bennacer's negotiation is not as difficult as media telling.

He is surely irreplaceable for Milan (Pioli) system, but for other big teams his contribution cannot reach that level. He lacks the physical for EPL and the technique of Coutinho, Thiago.

For Milan, the importance of Bennacer is the same as Theo, hence he demands (as repoted) the same wage as Theo. But no one calls Bennacer one of the best DM like Theo at LB/LWB.

Sofyan Amrabat is more likely to get transferred out of Serie A than Ben.

Maybe he knows that, so he fired Sissoko who loves EPL idea, then chose Enzo Raiola for dealing wage.

Bennacer needs Milan as much as Milan need Bennacer, so let's think win-win!
