RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 08-10-2011 Well, I can't remember any Inter coaches who were good at transfer market ![]() Mou got Quaresma, Mancini and Muntari in his first season, and he won it thanks to Ibra's and Balo's goals. The second was better with Lucio, Motta, Millito, Pandev, Eto and Sneijder, but Pandev is now a joke among Inter fans while both Motta & Millito are hated more than loved. Mancini won 2 Scudetti thanks to Ibra and Viera, but the main reason was Calciopoli. The paper Scudetto doesn't count. ![]() Why bother remembering other Inter coaches if they didn't win anything ![]() Agree with Nalx about Biglia. He is not special even in Youtube. I don't like his name, it is like Big Liar
RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 08-10-2011 I thought Mou did well with Inter. In regards to Cesc. I think the worst case scenario for Arsenal is getting knock out of CL by Udin while Cesc remains with the team. If that is to happen, both Milan, Barca, City or any other CL team won't pay big money for Cesc or sign Cesc at all, except for PSG. Imagine that, Leo got Pastore, Menez and Cesc in his first summer as GM. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 08-10-2011 Mou is a brilliant tactician, but in transfer market (Inter), he has his high and low. About Cesc. He is super hard to get, but if we still think about CL, we need a player like him. We spent many times talking about the super Barca after CL final, but there are many other teams which are stronger than Milan. Real for example, Kaka can improve us but he is surplus for Real. Sneijder to MU could make Inter weaker, but MU would look unbeatable for us. Bayern and Chelsea are slightly stronger than us. Man City are capable of causing trouble and the best way to beat Arsenal is to take Fabregas away from them. So I still believe in getting Fabregas. Other than this, what can I do? Hope that Berlusconi knows (I'm sure he knows) and spend. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Jay Crisp - 08-10-2011 Pato is sellable but Ibra they want to keep for life http://www.football-italia.net/aug10n.html.Not really important. I suppose we'll see on Sept 1st what plans are realistically with regards who we sign. They aint stupid but is the willingness invest big on 2 mid's there or is the money there. I don't get the constant Cesc talk there are no rumours or negotiations. If we were planning on signing or trying to sign him the negotiations would be taking place now as he plays in the CL in 6 days. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Siregar - 08-10-2011 (08-10-2011, 04:30 PM)Jay Crisp Wrote: Pato is sellable but Ibra they want to keep for life http://www.football-italia.net/aug10n.html.Not really important. With Milan we never know especially after our summer last year. Some fans keep telling Raiola has been working on something big since January but has he really? Milan bought El Shaarawy for pretty much money (18 years old without Serie A experience except his debut and probably few Serie A games?) but I forget if it happened before problem hits Berlusconi's company or after it. What I can see is that our management now has plan, at least to build the team step by step. With our current squad (with at least one cheap CM I do think), we have much bigger chance to win the Serie A compared to our seasons with Leo and Ancelotti post Calciopoli. For me personally, Serie A contender for Milan is OK while we can not build a great team to conquer Europe in short time except we have money (great CM + CAM). RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 08-10-2011 We need a player like Cesc, not 100% the man himself. But maybe he is too attractive and signing him could mean we win a battle against Barca. Hamsik, Hernandes, Ganso, Jovetic,... also can help us a lot. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Jay Crisp - 08-10-2011 El Sharawwy was signed before the fine. Im dubious , I think they'll try for Aqualani or Montolivo 6-8 million , Maybe try Kaka n loan 1 of the 3.That will be unveiled as MR X.Hamsik Hernanes Jovetic Ganso , I can't see it happening (i hope I'm wrong). Building a team for the future is great but we also live in the now , so without midfield signings better than Monty/Aqua/Kaka the season will be a bust in Europe. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - reza - 08-10-2011 3 weeks to go, a signing or two or bust
RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 08-10-2011 Yeah. I also think getting Monty/Aqua/Kaka/Poli or even Marchisio is the must-do first step, 25M+ players come second. But the first step is not hard to do, so it does not worth the word "believe" or "hope"
RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - russo-neri - 08-10-2011 Seriously, we are coming into crunch time. only 3 weeks for mercato. And no one in sight....
