For minimum wage? Sure, if it doesn't work out on the field, we can always make him the water boy LOL

Maldini and Massara got played like a flute if true..

Rumours becoming reality...

Kessie has said no to Milan’s latest offer of €6.5M/year. He could possibly leave either in January or June. PSG are hovering over the player

Said this before and will say it again, just give the man what he wants or let him go. We are not negotiating for anything at this point, since we lost every ounce of leverage already.

Kessie should have been resolved before this market close. He can be signed for free in January, and that's not much longer for him to string us along to get that fat pay cheque.

Kessie wanted 6m 2 months ago. Why is demand changing? He doesn't want to stay. he has a bigger contract waiting for him next summer. PSG. I doubt he would sign even if Milan offers him 8m. Nothing management can do about this

He must b sold in January

People has to get real, he can't be sold. He want to leave on a free to get the most wages. None of the teams will pay anything so that they can offer the high wages he want.

If this is true train the shit out of him and sit his ass on the bench every single game.  Dumb ass must of forgot the shifty playing days of his.

Maldini needs to figure out something for future signings so we don't have this issue.

PSG bench all star team being built

RE: Summer mercato 2021 - Zio Fester - 09-04-2021

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a move for Kessie, just like with Gigio Donnarumma. Milan, for their part, have already done their best in the negotiations.

The Rossoneri put €6.5m on the table but that was rejected by Kessie, who’s now hiding behind a demand of €8m plus another €2m in bonuses. This is too much for Milan but it’s certainly within reach for PSG.

And we thought Dollarumma was greedy...

Answer is simple, he went out and realized just how much he can fetch in the open market and changed his demand. Maybe we could've closed the deal at 6m a couple of months ago, but now that Kessie's eyes have been opened by the glaring lights, we are not playing the same game any more. This is why we should never procrastinate on these contract renewals, start them early and close the deal before things get complicated.

This Kessie thing is obviously getting nasty real quick. Our last best card to play is to basically sit him for the season or at least relegate him to a bench player. He has all this interest from big teams who wave big checks at him after one good season. A bad season can easily tank his value as well. He cannot seek legal action against us if the coach feels like another player is better suited to play ahead of him either. Not an ideal way to negotiate but the best we can do at this point. Luckily, Tonali seems to be coming on strong and we do have some depth at that position this season.
