So, I guess all of his mind games aren't just empty words. It will be a player not at the top of his game. Probably a player past his prime, perhaps bringing back Zidane? Maybe Henry? Beckham? Cannavaro from retirement? RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - reza - 08-01-2011 No doubt he is good at making deals, the reason I posted something like that is we believe in the 'negotiating through the media' too much. Presidents of other teams must be very weak if they reduce their prices because Galliani said something to the media. In fact I am pretty certain that rarely happens. Galliani is good at negotiating but this media game has nothing to do with it. I think the source is the main reason not to bother posting about it to be honest. The Daily Star is about as reliable as tribalfootball or something. Galliani made an interesting comment lately saying that Mr X isn't yet an established star. That probably means it's not Fabregas or Schweinsteiger although I never really take Galliani's comments too seriously. Didac Vila has also complained Allegri never had faith in him, but also highly praised Galliani and his son, saying they had an excellent relationship and Galliani's a myth ![]() Cassano stays - Dinar - 08-01-2011 Cassano for Amauri: Let Us Hope This Remains a Rumor By Franky T ⋅ August 1, 2011 Quote:As I have mentioned before, this time of the year is a trying one as our emotions sway with every new rumour that emerges. In the case of rumours linking Cesc Fabregas to a move to Milan, only excitement tinged with a slight anxiety is felt. Conversely, talk of Amauri being signed by the club brings feelings but of horror and overwhelming anxiety. Even more testing is that the club is, apparently, thinking of trading Antonio Cassano in for the Brazilian born wannabe Italian international. http://acmilanblog.net/2011/08/01/cassano-for-amauri-let-us-hope-this-remains-a-rumor/ RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Jay Crisp - 08-01-2011 Aqualani has the characteristics we are looking for... http://www.football-italia.net/aug1l.html I don't like this IF he is the Mr. X. A good squad player some more depth but not a player that will make the team play to higher level. If we end up with Aqualani as our midfield signing and only Aqualani , then I personally would of preferred to keep Pirlo .Sure he's older but simply put he's a better player , a fit 32 year old Pirlo >>> than a fit Aqualani IMO. |
