RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Nalx - 07-29-2011 (07-29-2011, 03:00 PM)Hitman Wrote: latest rumor: Where'd you get these rumors from, mate? Also is it just me or Mino Raiola has been unusually quiet these past few weeks. heck, even in this mercato. Normally we can read his comments almost everyday. If I'm not mistaken, this whole Mr. X thing started after he said that he's been working on a big signing for the last 6 months. Hopefully this silence means his work is still in progress. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - #3Forever - 07-29-2011 Also Kaka is too old and expensive and while I believe that Balotelli is still talented he is way to much of a risk, and since we are a loony house already I don't think he is necessary. Well as you may have noticed I will try to only comment about players being linked to us and try to put some life into this forum again! RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 07-29-2011 Why does any of you want players like Montelivo or Aqualiani? Both are just good players while the latter is extremely injury prone. Yes, I understand that Milan is an Italian team and should have more Italians, but that does not mean signing IT players who won't add anything to the squad. If the two mentioned comes to Milan today, I really doubt they can knock anyone of the four starting midfielders spot off the current squad. Sad thing is, one of the starting midfielder is someone who no longer runs and defends and just walks around the pitch waiting to play off Ibra, or just waiting for his PMS, which comes once every two months till March and April. Another midfielder who offers close to nothing in offense but great in defense along with two solid and physical midfielders. On top of that, if Max wants more defense, he will use Ambro and Flamini, and have Cassano and Urby for offense. In other words, they would add nothing to Milan. Not improve quality of the starting lineup or add more depth, what's the point of signing them? Although I'm not a fan of Balotellidiot, a mercato like this would be unbelievably surprising and great. I will believe when confirmed, until then my feet are firmly placed on solid ground. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - m.o.i. - 07-29-2011 montolivo is by far better than aquilani imo he is really underrated(this summer only actually), he has shown consistency for many years with some gr8 performances, although i agree that last year he seemed a bit akward, i am all for signing him. He never misses a chance to take a swipe at Seedorf. I agree with his general argument. Montolivo OR Aquilani will not start and thus sit on the bench. They will certainly not like that. They do add depth of course but I think we have depth in midfield, what we lack is 1 or 2 STAR Midfielders. 2 of (Fabregas, Ganso, Pastore, Hamsik, Honda, Aquilani/Montolivo, Schweinsteiger) would be a really positive move toward creating a team to make an effort at both Scudetto & Champions League Glory. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Jay Crisp - 07-29-2011 As much as I hate the crap Sky spew , they pay the teams a lot of money and have interviews with players managaer coaches and are on point with rumour's. There is not and has not been one rumour of CESC TO MILAN.Last summer there was rumours of Ibra to Milan for weeks then he signed there was rumours. There isn't a sniff of Cesc coming , Arsenal want £45 million , about 50 million euro's they have stated cash only no players just cash money. I don't see how it will happen , Barca accepted installements Arsenal won't.Im finding it very very hard to see this happening. If anyone can give me a reason to believe please do.Im no shitting all over the move i'd like it to happen , but how can it ..He simply costs too much and would prefer to remain in London and move next year. Not that he wont play for Milan but that his desire for Barca is huge. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Jay Crisp - 07-29-2011 You have a point.I find it hard to believe it will be us though.Maybe don't want to get excited for fear of ending up with Felipe Melo. He is free, a great champion (Brazil NT player), and the least expected option. |
