RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - Hasan Rossonero - 05-01-2015 @aim These fears that aim details, I encapsulated, and we agree fully it seems. I hope Mr. Bee fails to buy our club. The Chinese consortium would be more promising, but there again, we will not know until it is time. RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - devoted_dm - 05-01-2015 It seems like the deal with Mr Bee might not happen at all. There's growing speculation that Berlusconi is not happy with the plans for the future of the club, while Fininvest has doubts that Bee will actually be able to raise the necessary funds. We do need new ownership, but I am happy that Berlu wants guarantees for Milan's future. If Bee can't provide a convincing plan, then it's better to call it off and wait until the right offer arrives from someone else. RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - reza - 05-01-2015 Not being sure about finances this late seems unlikely to me. Doubts about future plans though, I guess so... RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - Hasan Rossonero - 05-01-2015 Latest from sources is that there will be a meeting tomorrow morning to close the deal... RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - ACMILAN1983 - 05-01-2015 Excellent posts aim, also welcome to MM . Actually, were you a poster in the past? I'm sure I remember a poster with the same username before.Anyway, like I've said with Hasan, at this point there are clearly details which are concerning and have been concerning from the start, but let's be a little careful in not making hasty conclusions based on rumours. For example, the first time I mentioned Doyen Sport on this thread as potentially being linked to this buy, I made sure I said about the dealings they have in football and how controversial they are, but we don't know what involvement they have with any of this, other than they are involved and are likely to be part of the group of investors. My concerns with Bee's potential purchase are pretty much shared with the potential purchase of the Chinese group. Problem is, there's a lot of talk and yet there's little to nothing to know what will happen if Silvio sells to either group. Truth is, this will be the case whatever happens and whoever Silvio sells to. I'm watching what happens as closely as I can, but I'm not going to support or oppose the sale to Bee, because I just don't know what to expect and can only make judgement after we see the results of their work. As devoted_dm said the most recent rumours were the deal was looking unlikely. Sky Sports now reports there will be a meeting tomorrow between Silvio and Been to finalise the deal. As aim said, don't trust the media too much
RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - nefremo - 05-01-2015 Don't remember the name, but someone connected to Berlu (or Milano, not sure) said that the Chinese don't have money and he doesn't know why Milan would even deal with them. It looks like the deal is back on. I think Berlu just wanted to cover all bases with everyone at the club and fininvest, including his political people. RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - Hasan Rossonero - 05-01-2015 @dev If Doyen Sports's modus operandi has been as described, then why would it be different with us? Latest reports suggest that Doyen Sports will be present tomorrow. EDIT: There is speculation that Galliani will remain. Bee just wants to add to the existing management structure. RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - ACMILAN1983 - 05-01-2015 Nefremo you're talking about Maroni who's the head of the Lombardy region and was in discussion with the club about selling the expo venue for the new stadium. I don't know how much he knows, though he's admitted to being a fan of the club, but he's said the Chinese don't have the money. That's highly doubtful given the names involved, but I can imagine they aren't prepared to spend as much as we might hope, particularly as Fu Yixiang said none were prepared to invest individually in the club. Obviously that's speculation on my part. Hasan, I'm not saying it is any different with Milan, I have my doubts about Doyen's involvement, but I intend to remain neutral until I see what comes of this deal (something that could be years away). I have my doubts, but on the flipside like I said yesterday I can't imagine investors spending 500m for half the club only to turn the club into a selling vehicle. RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - grande-milan-dk - 05-01-2015 The bad thing is that Mr. Bee don´t is like Berlusconi and have a lots of money. Behind Mr. Bee there is a lot of investors, that want to earn money within some years at least. So Mr. Bee has to handle the investors money, and can not on his own do what he want. If the investors behind him don´t have any money anymore, than Milan are screwed RE: Venting, sell the club, etc. thread - Sampinjon - 05-01-2015 Doyen Sports are not in football because they love it,all they want is profit. They don't want AcMilan because they love it-they want AcMilan to make some money. And no one can expect that they will inject in club some "crazy" amounts of money like ,for exapmple,Abramovic in Chelsea,or owner of Manchester City or PSG. I am afraid of them. We'll end up as a feeder club, which will produce players for rich clubs. We'll be standard in Europa League or in Champions League ,but I'm afraid that we will not be competitive for winning any of the those competitions. Their philosophy is - invest with minimum risk, take back as much as possible. Once when they buy AcMilan there's no way back. Why would they sell club which brings them money? And we will be doomed to live as average club for eternity. |
