Faivre would be a good pickup but it's abundantly clear we need a RW. Just in case it wasn't already clear before.

I guess one can claim the talk is about active ones but how can anyone talk of best LBs and not mention Maldini. Any way, mercato thread is not a history thread and the absolute worst topic in football these days (check twitter for example) is about comparisons. There are literally thousands of tweets and posts everyday comparing Messi and Ronaldo. The GOAT talk about those two is the most over done topic is world history.

Saelemakers is the weirdest best player we have. He's a good player where you don't wanna see him rot on the bench but you'd rather have a winger like Faivre on the right, meanwhile sometimes they may not be as effective. He's got his own way of impacting the games - or lack thereof when he's not playing well.
I'd still go with another winger if we can.
Side note: Yacine Adli is going to be a massive star. He didn't come right away but we will be shocked when he's here. Quality is unbelievable

You've seen Adli play? full games? I've only seen bits and pieces, same goes for Faivre. But both look very promising from what I've seen. Saelemaekers should be a rotation player, I like him a lot but his quality on the ball and his numbers (assists + goals) are lacking a bit. We should expect more of a starting right winger.
