RE: Adil Rami - Aficio - 05-09-2014 Well, Taarabt reminds me of something worse. His comments about Milan is not a big club anymore or he just takes Milan as a stepping stone... are known by many fans. However, I would like to have him, because he will try his best with this mindset. Rami is a different story. He was forced out of Valencia because he talked to the press about some two-faced members in the team. And now he speaks about Balotelli who doesn't want to be bothered. I don't think it is good for an employee to officially speak about inner information in his workplace, regardless of the correctness. A true professional should talk less and do more. Every organisation has its own problems, but it is the job of managers, not the salary men, though they have the right to directly speak their mind (not to other organisation or press). And I don't take Maldini's comment literally. He praised the player for the sake of Milan and to give Rami a direction to improve (not because he is already that good). RE: Adil Rami - Mathias - 05-09-2014 Apparantly Rami is set to go to PL and taarabt to stay. The logic of our management is beyond comprehension. I am willing to bet taarabt will be another boateng losing his advantage of surprise next season. He's not bad, not bad at all and a certain addition. But he will probably undergo the same downfall most tricky players face as the league gets to know them. And then we're just down to his passing and running. RE: Adil Rami - ACMILAN1983 - 05-09-2014 In Taarabt's case, I think both sides will have to conceded a little pride to work together. His comments about Milan being a stepping stone bothered me, but I'm willing to look past it if he performs to the level he has and keeps working hard. Likewise, he needs to accept that even if his dream is to reach Real or Barca, then he's going to have to prove himself at Milan at the top level. Ultimately though, I really see him as a relatively cheap stop gap solution for my real hope, which is Hachim Mastour to take over his position when he's ready. About Rami, yes he's spoken a little too much out in public at times, but this is where the club should intervene a little and start teaching staff members what's appropriate to say in the press. I don't think Rami's stupid and wouldn't take the advice. As for his comment on Balotelli though, Ambro, Montolivo, De Jong and so many have said similar things about him, Rami's not said anything that his other teammates haven't said in the past. Taarabt in this respect recently failed in the same way, talking to the press a little too candidly about his various private activities. A lot of his comments might be jokes (i.e. hoping Milan don't sign him until the end of the summer to get extra holiday), but he should think before he talks. RE: Adil Rami - xudong - 05-09-2014 In an ideal world, our team should consist of players such as Baresi, Costacurta, Maldini, and Tassotti, hard-working and self-disciplined both on and off the pitch. Oh wait, we actually had them in the past. Beggars can't be choosers. At the end of the day, I am going to have to cheer for whoever play for Milan.
RE: Adil Rami - Aficio - 05-10-2014 @Dev: You have strong points, though they still can't eliminate my doubts. Maybe my negative feeling is too deep ![]() Anyway, we have many different options for CB, and Rami remains the most expensive one = most unlikable one. Rami & Mexes is a nice pair, Rami & Alex looks intimidating, Rami & De Sciglio ? quite potential. I would like to sell Mexes to fund Rami's signing and get Alex. But the one in charge is still a bald man, and even my humbly idea will not be granted. RE: Adil Rami - ACMILAN1983 - 05-10-2014 Aficio I have doubts too. It's hard not to knowing the history of these guys and questionable ability at the highest levels. Our problem is we can't afford those who offer guarantees. I was very much thinking the same as you yesterday about sacrificing Mexes to bring in Alex to partner Rami. RE: Adil Rami - reza - 08-19-2014 Is it my eyes or is he still not listed on the squad page? ![]() http://www.acmilan.com/en/teams/roster http://www.acmilan.com/it/teams/roster RE: Adil Rami - Mystik - 08-19-2014 He's not there..and Armero and Diego Lopez are ghosts RE: Adil Rami - ACMILAN1983 - 08-19-2014 Good point. Do you think they've just forgotten?
RE: Adil Rami - xudong - 08-19-2014 He is not listed among players. You can find him under the "doners" category. |
