Maybe Bertolacci is the reason why we got Romagnoli. Maybe Roma valued them at 45M (Bertolacci 10, Romagnoli 35), so at the end of the day, it doesn't matter as long as they got 45 in total.

AFAIK Roma paid 6,5 euros to get half of Bertolacci's contract.

The guy's been totally overpaid ... when you know we paid 8M for an established striker (L.Adriano) and 30M for someone who is in the Top 10 of the strikers in the world (Bacca) ...

I agree with a fair chunk of it, particularly the possible reasons for Berto's disappointments so far in Milan. Food for thought for a player who tends to be hated on quite a lot for factors out of his control (i.e. money spent on him).

I don't understand what's happening to Bertolacci.
Last year I admired a complete midfildier, good both on the defensive and the offensive side. He scored a lot of gol for his ability to take advantage of the movements of the strickers and to predict the development of the action.
I was quite happy for his arrival this summer, even if the price paid was too high.
This year he played a very good match only against Lazio.
At the beginning he had problems playing in the 4-3-3, but the 4-4-2 (and the variations 4-2-3-1 and 4-2-4) we are using from some months is perfect for him.
He had some little injuries, the expectations on him were high and maybe the pressure blocked him, he needs a very organised team to perform at his best... yes, these are all good motivations, but it's still tremendous the difference between him and Kucka (who is playing like a beast).

There's been a lot of debate on him since he joined. I would suggest looking at the last few pages of the Genoa match thread, as it's mostly about him.
