RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - russo-neri - 07-18-2011

Monolivo & Pastore.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/596/exclusive/2011/07/18/2580349/ac-milan-hope-to-land-javier-pastore-and-riccardo-montolivo

I don't believe any of the Pastore talk, but I guess anything is possible.
Now here is some "real" news:

http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2011/07/18/2580304/agent-reveals-santos-ganso-would-prefer-ac-milan-move-over

Ganso agent says he will be meeting with Milan in the coming weeks.

If I had to bet now, I'd say Montolivo this summer and Ganso in January.

+1 one player I would really love to have during this mercato is Schweini
just like Fabregas, he would take us to the next level, but he would probably cost even less than Cesc.

That guy Lucas really impressed me, the commentators were calling him lucas silva, is that that marcelinho guy?

I think Montolivo will be a huge bust as he is just an average player. I do hope he proves me wrong.

Maybe with this Copa, Ganso will be cheaper.

He certainly didn't do anything to raise his price.

I read an article on goal that we would try to sign pastore&montolivo. I think montolivo is nothing more then average , i would rather ganso and pastore.. Ganso will fit in LCM, he has good vision passing and ball control i think 18-20million is a fair price to pay for ganso now. Hopefully we can also get pastore in the 35-40 region

Hi MM friends Smile Back again...

To answer to those who say Montolive is an average player. he's not an average player, but above average. He is not a player like fabregas, but is a technical player with experience that can help us during a long season in many ways. Im all in for his signing.

Of course he will not be the player Milan is really after, as I still believe we'll see one great midfielder in rossoneri shirt: Fabregas or Pastore.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - m.o.i. - 07-19-2011

Hello MM mates!Okmilan

I am back again, its my first post on the new forums.Just for the record,i served military service, the previous months, which unfortunatelly is compulsive (i would never join the army if i had the choice)in Greece, and thats why i didnt post.
Anyway i am back, and i hope for good.

As for the market id like to add a couple of things.Firstly i am really happy we got taiwo and mexes (both of whom i had been writing my wish they wore our shirt all year long!),they were totally needed, they will add quality options, and they must be motivated!I cannot be fair with the other newcomers as i just know little about them.

Now the player that i would be more than thrilled if he joined us, like most of milan fans, would be Pastore, he can add all the creativity and class our midfield lacks, thats no news for anyone i guess.I have to disagree with most of you on a couple of things, firstly Montolivo is surely not an average player,he may be outformed for a while, but man he can be a monster, both tactically andmentally, excactly the part allegri needs in his 11,imagine how balanced we would be.just remember his munich performance(not that it means ath,but again it wasnt his first time)

I am also not a huge Ganso fan,i ve really tried but he hasnt convinced me at all, maybe i was unlucky watching his mediocre performances(remember what moggi said about him,and although i dont appreciate him at all as a person,he knows about football better that anyone, especially when it comes to talents),i dont know,i am crossing my fingers about pastore.

I dont think theres any chance well sign fabregas(its 50% arsenal 50% barca for me),so i wont comment it at all.I also dont believe schweinsteiger could come, but i think he would be the best choice of all(hamsik, montolivo even fabregas,if you can call them dmcs, but i am reffering mostly on their positions not roles) as a dmc.also hamsik seems everyday further and further away, not worth the amount of money de laurentis wants imo.

Lastly i am happy snejder wont join manchester as it seems, dont get me wrong he is a gr8 player, but he seemed so unmotivated last year, and further more if he left i have a feeling moratti would go for pastore the next day. The other thing that i would nt mind is seeing cassano out, especcially if we got pastore then he would almost everytime be a back up, as we would play 4-4-2 more than we did last year, as we would be totally unbalanced with a 4-3-3 with pastore as a 10, and cassano would certainly create problems as a permanent back up(4th choice).we can use him to get a player,i liked the idea of trading him+cash for montolivo..cassano would be a hero in firenze or palermo..

to conclude i hope/dream for montolivo+pastore (as more realistic choices than others,of course...)

glad to be back!Sagrin

I also want that guy Lucas #18 on brazil

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 07-19-2011

Welcome MOI Big Grin

I agree with you about Sneijder. This player has world class abilities, but he is hard to use and he has lost his motivation after achieved everything at club level (Golden Ball or World Cup is too hard for him, he knew that). The only player I want Inter to sell is Eto. However, the African star has lost his big matches mentality this season, so no big deal. Cesar's become error-prone, Zanetti's lost his speed (normal at his age), Maicon's value is halved,... only Pazzini, Nagatomo and Ranocchia can get better. Inter are still very strong, even stronger than Milan on paper (total value of Inter's players is 360M Euros, Milan only 250M), but they are not fearsome.
