Boban is intelligent but sometimes the things he says are absurd tbh. That's not to say I'm defending Balotelli, but I don't think it's absurd that we're paying 2mln euros to have a player like Balotelli as practically a sub of a sub. Guaranteed he'll be a starter, and outplaying Bacca if he keeps his act together and plays to his potential.
I've always kept faith in this guy, because what I've seen him capable of doing and the characteristics he has are so out of the ordinary. I remember there was like a Puma challenge on Youtube that I watched. It was Reus,Fabregas, Balotelli and possibly another player. You have two consistently world class players. They put together a whole bunch of challenges ranging from shooting accuracy, to power etc. And Balotelli won every challenge, a couple of them by a landslide. I could never understand how a player could throw that talent away.
Let's not forget, the last time we qualified for CL Balotelli dominated the most crucial part of the season for us. If we can squeeze that out of him again, he's a match winner almost as much as Ibra. If he does play well and cleans up his act, with or without option we can still sign him. And I'm sure he'd want out of Liverpool, and they'd want him out
If he doesn't get his way, I'm sure Liverpool know what they're in for lol, we'll get a cut-price even if he manages 40 goals.

To me, I agree with Boban, as I mentioned previoulsy why bother about 3rd /4th choice when we still seriously struggle to get better starting midfield/ CB. We still have Menez and Niang, they may not have his talent, but surely they will work better for a team. (Menez on and off though, but thats another case) Balo's attitude issue is bigger than his talent itself. Anyway, he's officially joining, let hope he gets his head straight and be useful knowing this may be his final chance..

Agree..regardless of the outcome, it will cost TOTAL only 2M...
If he creates trouble..he will be kicked out (clause in his loan contract)
If he flop..Jan/June he will be out..
He didn't follow Mihajlovic instruction (don't help the team/act like primadona)..he won't play..Jan/June Out...
But if he performs : we all know and it's a fact that when he performs..he is one of the best in the world..
it's far better deal than Cerci or Matri (they each earn about the same or might be higher than Balo)..
and Nocerino,Zaccardo,Poli deal...
Those players even in their top condition still give a little to Milan...but it's VERY difficult to get rid of them (been here for years !!)..
didn't want to go to lesser club (Zaccardo) or even if loaned out Milan still have to pay BIG Portion of their salary (Noce,Matri)
and have no balls to Terminate Contract with Mutual Concern like Muntari did...
They wasting a lot of club money...very bad deal
This Balo deal should be treated like below reaction :
1.If he performs : "Wow he is so good...we are so lucky..only spend 2M for him"
2.If he flops : "he flops ?..oh okay..that's fine..it only cost 2M anyway (which is peanuts for club like Milan)"

some of the clauses of his contract have come out. It includes no smoking, very little drinking, no night clubs and no crazy hairstyles lol. Oh, and he has to turn up to training on time.

I have noticed a lot of these kind of articles emerging in the English press in the last two days. Seems the Liverpool PR department are desperate to paint Mario as the bad guy as it seems some fans still aren't happy that he was not given a chance and is allowed to leave for so cheap.
It also appears that the Fenway Sports Group (who own Lfc) are known to do such things to exiting players. They did it to sterling and they have done it in the past to Boston Red Sox (who they also own) players who were leaving. Pretty despicable if you ask me. It's as if they are determined to win the PR battle with Mario.
