People outside of South America have no idea of things that hapens at Libertadores. How many times Brazilians are spited, punched or receives rocks on the head? Just look at what hapened to Fluminense players in Argentine at this same Libertadores after they win the leg some months ago. They were cowardly attacked on the field by the Argies... I dream with day a big European team play in Argentine, Paraguai or Uruguai at Libertadores... Would love to see the reactions if Milan player received rocks on the head, spits, punches and nothing hapens. Libertadores is a jungle, an war and I hate how we Brazilians always receive this Clubs with open arms...

Btw, no one is talking about Leo(Santos veteran LB and far from a brauler) that was attacked by Penarol players and is now injured because of the cowardly agression he received... but Neymar is the easy target. If Neymar started the fight I would bash him hard(like I did with Gattuso), but he enter it to help his teammates and I respect him for that. Why I´m not seeing the same angry reaction when Neymar received 3 slaps on the face in the course of the game? Or that Penarol player grabing Ganso by the neck? Why?

Like with Robinho, I think there a lot of prejudice towards Neymar aroung the world. I just don´t want to talk about some of the reasons... From all that I heard from people there(I still know some people at the club) he´s a very good/ humble kid off the field and a great teammate in the changing room.

I can´t deny that his cockiness on the field(the way he likes to destroy defenders) makes some people mad, but like I did with Robinho some years ago, I will say again with Neymar: They don´t deserve the label people like to put on them. Was Robinho the cancer Spanish/English press love to label him? Still waiting for a report of his "cancer behavior" at Milan. Neymar is a great kid(until now) and I heard nothing from people in the know to make me believe on the contrary...

But thats all my opinion and people can believe in the reports they want...

About Neymar, I think people just want to put something negative about players like him in order to downplay their talents. Unless he do a Mario or Cassano, I don't think he is a cancer to his team.
Personally I rather have him than Pato, as his over all knowledge of the game is much better than Pato.

In France, some channels show some of the games or sometimes show some highlights here and there ... I already watched that two or three times, and something disturbed me in these games each time: the crazy ambiancy in the stadiums. It was strange, when you're used to watch Italian games (empty stadiums ) and CL games (good ambiancy most of the time), watching an important Libertadores game will disturb you for sure !!

Why isn't there any punishment like a disqualification for the following Libertadores when something like that happens by the way ?

PS: Eurosport.fr made two articles about the 2 games, but in the second article, they almost didn't write about the fight, they just wrote it lasted 2 minutes and that Santos players were then able to celebrate their win ... They put a video online some days after but I didn't watch it.
