That's right, but then it would mean that we would at best settle at 7th spot. I don't want that to happen.

I was thinking that waht if both Roma and Napoli wins Europa league and UCL, then it would mean that we would featuring 6 teams from Italy in UCL next season
then how many teams would qualify for Europa?

Good question. I don't know for sure.
I have a question of my own:
Can six teams from a same association be in UCL though? I know five is allowed.

Yes, I think 6 can happen too if that scenario that Sleeping Giant described occurs. But I don't think that the # of European participants in total changes. So in that case I think Italy would only get 1 EL participant.
But yes, i'm not sure 100% so it'd be interesting to see what happens.

If they actually beat Jube last week, it would have been 4 point difference. The chance to overtake would have much more realistic.
Those two penalities probably decided the season. Just like the Muntari goal that was disallowed.
