RE: Summer mercato 2012 - GeoTav - 07-11-2012

And what about a guy like Acerbi ?
The guy waited to know if Thiago Silva would stay or not to sign his contract, he said he was impatient to play for Milan AND with Thiago Silva. It looks like he came here because of his admiration for Thiago. If Thiago Silva leaves, how will he react ? Will he be motivated enough ?

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - ElMago99 - 07-11-2012

65M too low, but then again I really don't care. The money won't be reinvested anyway. For Berlusconi to consider this, he's nervous about something. Either the EU is about to fall apart, and he wants to liquidate all assets, OR, he's dead broke. Either case, this is a terrible statement to sell the Top 3 Best Players in World along with the World's Best Defender.

We can buy 5 WC players with the money and still possibly be worse. The issue is, they're not selling them so they can buy new ones, they're selling them for the money. In other words, fans LOSE.

Wouldn't be surprised if we do sell both players, and don't invest in any quality replacements...nothing surprises me anymore.

That wouldn't surprise me, I expect that.

not that it matters. he is not someone who I expect to feature a lot.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - reza - 07-12-2012

The 'ideal' squad has Cesar over Abbiati. Media are playing games with Milan fans and that's not a rumour lol

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - ElMago99 - 07-12-2012

On Tuesday, Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani had appeared to backtrack on his earlier statements that neither Thiago Silva nor Zlatan Ibrahimovic would leave the club when he claimed that "anything can happen before the end of the transfer window", but Allegri was not worried by his employer's vague comments.

"Fortunately, neither of them will go. Otherwise, it would be very difficult to replace them," he continued. "I am not worried by [Galliani's] words. From the outside they can have a certain meaning, but I am calm."

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 07-12-2012

Guys stay calm lol, thiago silva will not be going anywhere, and if ibra does well think about it in the next 2-3 years he's gone regardless so let's look at the positive side of things, trying out new replacements from now is more beneficialBig Grin

pure fantamercato, plain and simple.

Tell me if this makes sence for a minute, both barca and real madrid would offer silva just as lucrative a contract as well as be able to pay the same transfer fee PSG is willing to pay, believe it or not real is a hell of a lot richer then PSG, just they are a lot smarter a club then man shitty and PSG, these rich arabs just come into soccer and spend their workless oil money like water just as easily as they made it, doesn't mean they have any brain at all about soccer they just buy the stars and think it will win them titles.

So ask yourselves this, would someone like silva seriously pick PSG over real or barca? or even man city? any three of those teams would pay the same transfer fee, the same wage and all 3 of those teams play in much more competitive, much better leagues then ligue 1.

I seriously don't believe both ibra and silva will go PSG, I believe ibra will but not both.
If they do I will be seriously suprised, because anything can happen so I can't personally guarentee anything but I'll be EXTREMELY suprised if this happens, i have my fingers crossed even though I don't believe silva will leave one bit.

Plus guys, call me crazy and don't think I won't be upset if Silva leaves, the only milan jersey i bought since the 05/06 jersey was last seasons away jersey with silvas name on it, he's a personal favourite right now along with prince and pato, but 70 million euros is nothing to joke around with plus ibras massive wage. if you spend that money properly literally we can buy dzeko, tevez, dede and strootman all in one mercato

braida, raiola and galliani together could mean we've signed someone, funny how media would instantly predict a ibra/silva sale what if it's really us buying hamsik?
