If Ganso and Neymar both played in the Club World Cup, then transfer to Milan in Jan. Can they play in CL with MIlan right away?

I think so. CWC is not a competition held by UEFA.

Anyway, when is the Brazillian league finished? South American league, like Argentina, often confuses me since they have this Apertura-Closura thing.

About Ganso, I too am willing to wait another six months for him.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 06-24-2011

I hope he can recover in next six months.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 06-24-2011

Personally, it really depends who Milan will sign if Ganso is coming in Jan.
I mean with the current team and the fact that Milan might be drop to 2nd seed in the Group stages, there is a great chacne that Milan will be group with teams like ManU, Barcelona or Real, while along with an Eastern European team and a team from Germany. Thus, having a guy like Ganso will sure help.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - abbeyleemania - 06-24-2011

Milan's El Shaarawy signing (also after Galliani confirmed that he will stay next season) made me think that our plan is signing Ganso for the january window.

i'd rather to have him instead January... CL quarters will be in Febr. he needs 2-3 months to adapt to new country, new team, new tactics...

Regarding Vidal, he had a very good season this season at Germany. if im not mistaken he had 13 goals, 12 assists. He got 1 red card, 4 yellow cards. (last season it was 14 yellow cards) He has 11 goals, 10 assits this season just in Bundesliga...its pretty good number for a box to box player.

Regarding his game, he is agressive, fighter typee of player, who is very good tackler and who can put pressure on rival players and his pressing is good...

He is strong player, he is fast, tecnique, he can dribble, he has good shoot. He is creative for his position. He would be great signing for us...

i hope we sign him.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Beppe - 06-24-2011

I wouldnt be surprised if we hold on to Cassano untill january and sell him then when Ganso arrives... sounds quit logical!

Vidal is non-EU... Can we sign him, Ganso and Taiwo... officially only 1 is allowed a season, but maybe soon the new rule is 2 non-Eu signings a season, but that would still be one too much.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 06-24-2011

These non-EU signing is stupid rule, as it does not stop teams from signing players with a EU passport, therefore won't force teams to promote and develop National youth.

real's management assemble this lineup is not for no reason.they are the one to face barca every single seaon.

I didn't read this post earlier, but have to seriously disagree that Real are a team to counter Barca. More than anything, this was highlighted in Real's overreliance on Pepe during the Barca matches to destroy the Barca plays. With that workload and his stupidity (getting himself sent of for stupid and needless challenges), he simply struggled to cope with the Barca attack. Without him, Real completely fell apart. With regards to Real's attack, I think in 5 games last season, they scored only the odd goal, one of them in Extra time of the Copa final.

Rumours are if we were to get Vidal, we'd do so by doing a deal similar to Boateng last season.

we can pull it off if:
- Taiwo gets his French passport in time (which apparently is probable)
- the rule for 2 non-EU signings is passed (which apparently is very probable)

If real is not a team to counter barca, who is? ManUtd? it was a knock-out.at least real beat barca in spanish Copa.

How many goals spain NT concede last WC, they are an italian team in term of defence quality in big games.I don't blame real's attack, they make barca put more emphasis on defence,it lowers their offence efficiency.I think barca won't put equal intensity on defence when they face teams rely on skill other than front speed.
